Have a vacation planned? No worries! You are more than welcome to attend a makeup lesson. It doesn’t even have to be the same subject! For example, if your 6 year old missed their ballet class, they are more than welcome to try a new subject like hip hop, lyrical, or jazz technique for their makeup lesson just to try something new - as long as it is the proper age class.

Students that study dance over the summer show further progression that directly affects fall placement and audition outcomes. Our summer course is only required for those trying out for our jazz competition teams. These students must take a minimum of ballet and jazz technique (or leaps and turns), though as always, we recommend as many classes as possible.

We offer our regular subjects in addition to many courses not offered during the year, such as core strength and flexibility, leaps and turns, mommy and me, etc.

For ballet classes we do require form fitting dance wear and tights in order to see the dancer’s body alignment and their knees. Teachers cannot make the proper corrections for your child without viewing these areas. This is very important for your child’s progress.

When offered, our “Mommy & Me” classes begin at age 18 months - 3 years). Minimum ages (by December 1st) are listed on each class on the schedule.

The only classes offered for students ages 2-5 are preschool combo and acro. As they age, many more subjects become available to them! Minimum ages (by December 1st) are listed on each class on the schedule.

When students reach the age of 6-8, ballet is then offered as its own hour long class, and then combo becomes more strictly jazz and tap.

Likewise for our 5-7 year old classes. The student must be the listed age of the class by December 1st.

4-6 year old classes are suggested for older 4 year olds through younger 6 year olds.

Preschool classes are for ages 2 and a half through a young 5 year old.
