Kenadee began dancing at 2 years old and is so excited to spread her love of dance through teaching. She danced competitively on INSPIRE’s top team for many years. She attended Casteel High School where she was captain of the varsity pom team. She was on their dance team for 5 years, winning numerous awards. Kenadee is excited to pursue her passion and love of dance and continue to grow through teaching and coaching!

Rebecca Scott has trained in various dance styles since the age of three. At ten, she discovered her passion for ballet and pursued more intensive training.

Brinley Linton

Brinley Linton has danced with world renowned choreographers and worked with professionals such as Tina Caspary, Krista Barker, Ricky Maalouf, Jessica Starr, and Break the Floor faculty. From 2019-2021 she was a part of the national winning team and world champion, BYU cougarettes where she cheered, performed, competed, and choreographed. She is currently choreographing for high schools and studios all across the US. Recently, she had the opportunity of choreographing for multiple universities as well and was a member of Shandon Perez and Toya Ambrose’s company, Tone Society this past season. Brinley is currently one of the main choreographers for the NBA, Utah Jazz Dancers and also looks forward to expanding her pro-dance team portfolio!

Kenzi Abalos began her dance journey at the age of three with Safford Dance Academy, competing until her graduation in 2018. Our Music Theatre Minis and Prep programs are designed to bring young performers' dreams to life. Students in MTM and MTP can embrace various roles as they delve into character exploration, learn music, and practice simple choreography inspired by beloved Broadway shows and musical characters. This engaging program cultivates essential teamwork and listening skills, allowing children to channel their energy in a fun and productive learning environment.

Musical Theatre at INSPIRE

Musical Theatre at INSPIRE offers Theatre Training and Full Stage Productions through its Music Theatre Academy and Theatre Arts Training programs, preparing students for the stage with a comprehensive education. Participants will perform in two short musical productions while dedicating time to mastering theatre principles, performance techniques, and essential rules that enhance their abilities as performers. Beyond acting, students will gain foundational knowledge in technical arts, including sound, lighting, and stage management.

VP Minis & Vocal Prep

Vocal Minis & Vocal Prep are audition-based performance teams for kids ages 6-9. These teams are designed to give students elite age-appropriate training in music, dance, and theater. This training all occurs in a positive, uplifting, and fun atmosphere.

Vocal Performance Academy

Vocal Performance Academy is comprised of two performance groups, Amplify (ages 10-13) and Elevate (ages 14-18). These groups have a strong focus on arts training with the purpose to improve in music, dance, and theater. Students come each week learning new performance and audition techniques, helping sharpen their skills in the arts–all while having fun!

Vocal Performance Company

INSPIRE’s Vocal Performance Company, Resonate, is comprised of 20 top-tier performers training to become triple threats. This company trains in music, dance, and theatre the whole year and has opportunities to perform around the valley, tour internationally, and participate in workshops with professionals in the performing arts industry.

Jazz & Pom

Technical training class that is focused on advanced turn combos, discs, toe touches, and other techniques and skills that help students prepare for competitive school Pom teams.

Ballroom

Basic training in Latin and standard styles of ballroom. Types of dances learned in class will vary based on age and ability. We recommend having a ballet background.

Technique/Conditioning

Dancers will develop strong skills in kicks, jumps, leaps, turns, and work to improve flexibility & strength. This is a technique-focused class that will also explore and strengthen each dancer’s ability to perform in the jazz genre.

Tap/Hip Hop Combo

Designed for our students ages 5-8, these combos introduce Tap and Hip Hop to new students and establish skills for intermediate ones. The class is one hour long. Students will learn the fundamentals of each genre and develop their gross motor skills, coordination, and musicality. They will learn a dance in each genre that will be performed at the showcase at the end of each semester.

Contemporary Jazz

Contemporary jazz is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dance stresses versatility and improvisation, unlike the strict, structured nature of ballet. Our contemporary classes are offered for beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers.

Jazz

Jazz is a form of dance that shows a dancer’s individual style and originality. Dancers will learn technique, leaps, and turns to incorporate into their dance routines. Our jazz classes provide training from Beginner to Advanced levels in a fun and energetic environment.

Ballet/Pointe

Ballet requires discipline and hard work and ballet classes at INSPIRE are held to that standard. Our ballet classes provide a solid foundation as a dancer and training in all levels, including pointe. We recommend that every dancer be enrolled in a ballet class to learn the foundations that can be applied to many other dance styles. Pointe is only offered to advanced dancers who are approved after an evaluation.

Tap

Tap is an exciting form of dance in which characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes as a form of percussion. Our beginning tap classes will teach the basic fundamentals of tap dancing. Our intermediate and advanced classes are for those who wish to continue progressing in their tap-dancing skills, as well as learn different forms of tap: classical, “hoofer”, and more. We offer tap classes for ages 6 to adult.

Hip Hop & Tricks

Hip hop is a very energetic form of dancing. It is unique and allows dancers to perform with freedom of movement, adding in their own personalities. Learn hip hop foundations and basic tricks. Show off routines in our showcases.

Combo – Tap/Jazz or Tap/Ballet

Students will learn the basics of both ballet and tap, as well as develop their gross motor skills, coordination, and self-confidence. They will learn a dance (or two) that will be performed at a showcase at the end of each semester.

Prepare a 16-bar (30-sec) audition song. Bring sheet music or a karaoke track of your song. Complete the online audition form --> HERE . Bring comfortable clothes you can move in & something nice to wear for your vocal audition. If auditioning for Elevate or Amplify, plan on coming from 5-8 PM, but you'll most likely be let go early. This program offers students the exciting opportunity to collaborate on and perform a full musical production. This camp is for the dance student who wants to excel in their Ballet technique. This intensive was designed with the disciplined dancer in mind and will have groups at the Intermediate and Advanced levels. Previous Ballet experience is required. Students will do Barre exercises, Centre Floor variations, and other Ballet-focused curriculum to enhance technique.

FRIEND LIKE ME Show Camp

"FRIEND LIKE ME" – Learn a whole show in one week! Auditions will be held the first day of class to cast the show but everyone who registers is guaranteed to at least be cast in the ensemble. This show is an INSPIRE original featuring many different Disney shows combined into one exciting show full of your favorite tunes! The camp culminates in a performance on the last day of camp that is open to family and friends at no additional charge.
