Diamond State Dance

Acro focuses mainly on all tumbling and gymnastic skills needed for dance teams, pom squads, cheerleaders, and dancers. In addition to continued learning of new skills, participants learn proper technique.

Each level of Tap Tech focuses on basic tap technique while challenging the dancer to master new and challenging tap steps.

Each level of technique focuses on basic fundamentals to improve dancers overall skill and technique with an emphasis on turns, leaps and other short but challenging combinations

Each level of ballet focuses on the appropriate level of ballet technique and terminology. Classes focuses on work at the bar, center floor and across the floor.

Created by a successful studio owner with decades of experience, the program is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling. Each level of our program will focus on the proper progression of skills designed to develop skills our dancers will need to incorporate acrobatic elements into their dancing. Classes are designed to begin at age 3.5 and all students must be fully potty-trained. Level 1 Ages 7 years & up. Level 2/3 is also available at DSD for ages 7 years & up with evaluation. Evaluation is required before enrolling into Tumble 2/3 class.

Cheernastics is a FUN class that combines CHEER, POM, ACRO & GYMNASTICS skills into one session. We teach beginning Cheer skills including motions, jumps, & stunts. Acro skills include forward & backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels & back-bends. Gymnastics introduces basic bars & balance beam. Dancers will work on strength, flexibility & coordination. Dancers will learn a variety of pom combos & routines throughout the session.

A combination class focused on tap, ballet and basic gymnastic skills to target developmental and technical skills of flexibility, balance, core strength and coordination. An assortment of energetic, child-friendly music will offer a fun and creative dance environment for the optimal dance experience. Each genre of dance will be 20 minutes.

A combination class focused on jazz and hip hop and Acrobatic Arts skills to target developmental and technical skills of flexibility, balance, musicality, and coordination. This is our most popular class every year!

A 1 hour class including Jazz, Hip Hop and Tumble. This is a high-energy class that focuses on technique, performance, and fun. All you need is a pair of black jazz shoes, sneakers, and a love for dance!
