Tango
The Organic Tango Philosophy is composed of the following ideas collected over the years: Tango is a social-form and an art-form Tango has historical and cultural roots, however, no individual or group owns the tango Tango has always and will always continue to adapt to its environment and evolve Respect and learn from the past, live in the present, and let the future unfold... Categorical contemporary tango styles are the results of a globalized market We each dance our own style A good tango relationship is an 'interdependent' one not a 'co-dependent' one We are only as good as our partners The middle of the step cannot be ignored All dancers go through beginner, intermediate, and advanced stages of navigation skill There are four branches of tango awareness: Self, Partner, Music, Surroundings A dancer has 'found their own style' when they have reached a high level of tango awareness A measure of one's tango success is how well his/her style can adapt socially to other dancers The lifecycle of a tango dancer includes Student, Ego, Apathy, and oftentimes repeats. The 3 “C’s” of tango are: Consistency, Clarity, and Comfort. No matter what ‘style’ you have these are the basics for good social dance connection & communication.

Intro to Swing Dance
First of all the point is to dance anyway but also to dance with your family member/significant other, kids, parents or at least with... yourself learning both the leader's and the follower's steps. We are always delighted to see first timers as well as dancers with some experience. Every single class we go over the basics and then throw in some new moves to get you swinging. Eventually, you will be surprised how simple steps and combinations turn into a beautiful choreography. Our class focuses on all the classics of swing dance, Lindy Hop 6 & 8-count, and 1920s & 1930s Charleston. We will also introduce reasonable influences of Blues, Rock-N-Roll, and even Broadway Dance, so ''Sharing Fun Steps to Fabulous Music'' would be a short definition of our style. Having two instructors in class makes it possible to give you individual attention, to present new material from different points of view, and turn a regular class into a dance party and/or show case. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

The goal of the series is not just to learn steps, but to build community and take part in the wonderful American cultural heritage of ballroom dancing. At the beginning of each class, we will introduce ourselves and talk for a few minutes about the dances we are learning. During each month of this series, we will learn two different dances, a latin and a "smooth" or "rhythm" dance. In the first class of each month, we will review the basics in both dances. Thereafter we will learn new moves, while reviewing previous ones so as to really master them.
