We provide a truly contemporary, holistic approach to classical ballet within a positive, nurturing, work-centric environment. Three groups comprise Étoile by BDA, beginning at age 6 for our most focused young dancers through age 18.

We pace dancers appropriately by age and ability. This is achieved through our expert understanding and careful integration of Vaganova ballet instruction with somatic practice as well as non-classical dance genres. Our emphasis on the Vaganova method, a renowned and structured method that combines precision, strength, and artistry, develops well-rounded dancers with impeccable technique and expressive movement.

Étoile by BDA is our award-winning elite after-school pre-professional ballet-focused training program designed for dancers from ages 6 through 18. Launched in 2020, this rigorous program is tailored to dancers who exhibit exceptional focus, kinesthetic intelligence, and a natural physical predisposition for classical ballet. The curriculum is designed to produce maximum results in the shortest amount of time.

Hip-Hop brings an energetic, freestyle edge to the curriculum, challenging dancers to embrace individuality and cultural influences.

In Jazz, students develop sharp, dynamic movements and a sense of rhythm, often blending classic techniques with today’s trends.

Our Contemporary classes combine elements of ballet and modern dance, encouraging dancers to explore emotional expression and innovative choreography.

The Vaganova method of classical ballet is a world-renowned system that lays the foundation for exceptional technique, strength, and grace. This training not only builds the dancer’s core abilities but also instills discipline and artistry, preparing them for success across various dance styles and genres.

The Pre-Ballet program is our preparatory division, designed to introduce young children to the beauty and joy of dance. Our youngest dancers, starting as early as age 3 (or potty-trained), will embark on their ballet journey in a nurturing and supportive environment. The emphasis is on developing musicality, rhythm, flexibility, strength, and stamina. These children's ballet lessons focus on building a solid foundation for technical progression, helping students gain confidence and begin understanding the basics of ballet. Each level is structured to allow for safe and enjoyable growth in the art form.
