Ballet intensive for advanced beginning ballet students looking to advance into the Beyond Basics class. Emphasis will placed on new elements so students will feel comfortable and confident in a 90 minute class.

Hip Hop Rehearsal for Holiday Show

A workout that is focused on the two largest muscle groups. Your entire lower body is absolutely getting blasted throughout this entire routine.

These classes are for adults with previous ballet training and solid technique. The intermediate dancer can process more complicated sequences, can execute barre exercises with greater speed and accuracy and is expected to coordinate arm and leg movements smoothly. Center floor work requires a greater ability to use core strength and balance and incorporates more challenging petite and grande allegro steps and turns.

The Zumba® Gold-Toning program offers the best of both worlds — the exhilarating experience of a Zumba Fitness-Party with the benefits of safe-and-effective strength training. It’s an easy-to-follow, health-boosting dance-fitness program for baby boomers as well as beginners. Through dynamic lightweight resistance training and exciting international rhythms, Zumba Gold-Toning classes help participants build muscle strength, increase bone density, and improve mobility, posture and coordination.

Get ready to dance like a zombie! Students will learn a kid-friendly version of Michael Jackson’s legendary “Thriller” while exploring performance, creativity, and imagination. In addition to choreography, dancers will learn character development, create their own zombie (complete with costume design), and practice theatrical makeup techniques in a safe, age-appropriate environment. The session culminates in a live performance at El Segundo’s Halloween Frolic, where students will bring their zombie characters to life on stage for family and friends! Fee Includes: Basic zombie makeup and costume material fees.
