Welcome to South Bay Dance Center, a vibrant dance community located in Lomita, California. Dedicated to fostering a love for movement, our studio offers a diverse range of classes for all ages and skill levels, from absolute beginners to seasoned dancers. We specialize in Ballroom and Latin dance styles, providing opportunities through private lessons, group classes, and social dance events like Friday Night Socials and Ballroom Dance Parties (currently on hold). Our studio boasts six beautifully appointed rental spaces, including the expansive Grand Ballroom A and various studio rooms, perfect for classes, workshops, and special events. These facilities are equipped with turn-key amenities and spacious, well-maintained dance floors, offering an inspiring environment for dancers and instructors. We are proud to feature dozens of highly experienced instructors, including notable talents such as Mikhail Andreev, Josie & Arnel Canalita, and Igor Colac, who are dedicated to guiding you in learning new steps or refining your craft. South Bay Dance Center emphasizes a welcoming, supportive, and family atmosphere where everyone can find their rhythm and explore their passion for dance. Classes typically run 45-60 minutes, and comfortable street clothes with leather-soled shoes are suitable for initial participation, though proper dance shoes are recommended for optimal movement.
