About Center Stage Dance Academy

Center Stage Dance Academy, located in Long Beach, California, offers a comprehensive and diverse dance education for students of all ages. Our curriculum is built upon a strong foundation, prominently featuring Ballet at all levels, from Entry Ballet for ages 5-7 to advanced Ballet V Technique for ages 14-18. We also offer specialized classes such as Ballet Floor Barre, Pre-Pointe, and Pointe I, II, and IV. Beatrice Cornejo brings pre-professional and professional experience. Brandy Factory incorporates Horton, Graham, and Limon techniques. Jeff Harvey, a former Disneyland performer, adds a unique perspective. Becky Justman shares her performance experience, and Damian Kelly enriches the academy with classical ballet training. Danté Lara, an internationally recognized tap dancer, also shares his skills. Lea Mano contributes her performance and choreography experience, particularly in musical theater. Classes

Ballet Ensemble

CSDA's Ballet Ensemble exhibits a high level of commitment to ballet. Ballet Ensemble performs a special piece in the recital and participate in our Holiday Show. In addition, members are invited to compete in a number of regional and national competitions. To be eligible for Ballet Ensemble, you must be a ballet student at Level II or above and enrolled in two ballet classes. Ballet Ensemble is by invitation only.

Jazz Tap Rep. 2

CSDA's Jazz/Tap Repertory Too! members exhibit a high level of commitment to dance. The Jazz/Tap Repertory Too! group is by invitation only. To be eligible to join Jazz/Tap Repertory Too!, you must be a least 6-8 years old and have enrollment in tap, jazz and ballet with at least two years of experience in ballet.

To be eligible to join Jazz/Tap Repertory, you must be a least 8 years old and have three years of jazz and tap experience and currently enrolled in at least one ballet class.

Ballet

Ballet Rehearsal To use this schedule, locate the day, time, and teacher of your child's class(es) under the corresponding cast. Please make a note of the cast color (either yellow, green, or orange) that corresponds to your child's class and the corresponding rehearsal dates and times. All casts have two rehearsals, in addition to the dress rehearsal. Once you know the color of the cast your child is in, you may find the events page helpful for locating the day/time of your child's two rehearsals.
