Center Stage Dance Academy

CSDA's Ballet Ensemble exhibits a high level of commitment to ballet. Ballet Ensemble performs a special piece in the recital and participate in our Holiday Show. In addition, members are invited to compete in a number of regional and national competitions. To be eligible for Ballet Ensemble, you must be a ballet student at Level II or above and enrolled in two ballet classes. Ballet Ensemble is by invitation only.

CSDA's Jazz/Tap Repertory Too! members exhibit a high level of commitment to dance. The Jazz/Tap Repertory Too! group is by invitation only. To be eligible to join Jazz/Tap Repertory Too!, you must be a least 6-8 years old and have enrollment in tap, jazz and ballet with at least two years of experience in ballet.

To be eligible to join Jazz/Tap Repertory, you must be a least 8 years old and have three years of jazz and tap experience and currently enrolled in at least one ballet class.

Ballet Rehearsal To use this schedule, locate the day, time, and teacher of your child's class(es) under the corresponding cast. Please make a note of the cast color (either yellow, green, or orange) that corresponds to your child's class and the corresponding rehearsal dates and times. All casts have two rehearsals, in addition to the dress rehearsal. Once you know the color of the cast your child is in, you may find the events page helpful for locating the day/time of your child's two rehearsals.

Combo II is an intermediate combination class for dancers aged four to five years old, building upon ballet and tap techniques learned previously.

ENTRY TAP is a dance class for ages 6-8 offered on Fridays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM with instructor Brandy (BF).

This is an entry-level combination class designed for young dancers aged three to four years old, focusing on fundamental ballet and tap techniques.

Jazz I classes build upon foundational jazz movements, introducing more complex steps and combinations. Dancers will refine their technique, improve flexibility, and develop stage presence. This level is suitable for students with some prior jazz experience. This is a non-performance class.

TAP I/II is a dance class for ages 7-9 requiring director's permission, offered on Mondays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM with instructor Leslie (LC).

Jazz I/II classes are for dancers who have a solid understanding of Jazz I fundamentals and are ready to progress to more challenging choreography and technique. This class focuses on developing advanced turns, leaps, and intricate footwork, preparing students for higher levels of jazz performance. Requires director's permission.

TAP I/II is a dance class for ages 7-10 offered on Mondays from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM with instructor Leslie (LC).

Turns & Leaps I/II technique classes focus on the foundational elements of turns and leaps, building strength, control, and precision. This class is designed to improve a dancer's ability to execute clean turns and dynamic leaps, essential skills in various dance forms. Requires director's permission.
