Mommy & Me

A wonderful introduction to dance for 2-year-old boys and girls. Caregivers and their little ones will enjoy learning basic dance steps and routines through simple movements, songs, props, and games. Parents can dress comfortably, but should bring dance shoes or socks to participate in class. Children should be in dance attire.

Boys Only

Classes are specifically designed for young male dancers. These fast-paced classes will allow boys to all socialize together while being introduced to various styles of dance. The exercises and steps will focus on upper and lower body strength, coordination, agility, and power.

Lyrical

A combination of ballet, jazz, and modern styles of dance. Students are encouraged to interpret and express the lyrics and quality of the music. This popular dance style requires strong ballet technique, control and flexibility. It can also be referred to as contemporary style. All lyrical students should be concurrently enrolled in a minimum of one ballet class.

Tap

A dance style characterized by the percussive movements of the feet. The exercises are excellent for rhythm and coordination. This dance form is fun and challenging because the dancer also becomes a drummer! All students must have tap shoes.

Jazz

A versatile dance style characterized by dynamic quality and muscle isolations. This dance form is represented in musicals, contemporary dance, and dance conservatories. Dancers build balance, body control, and strength in order to build technical skills for jumping, leaping, and turning. All jazz students are highly-encouraged to enroll in a minimum of one ballet class. Class placement is by discretion of faculty.

Ballet

A classical dance form consisting of precise movements and body positions. Students who practice ballet develop correct posture, body alignment, grace, poise, and technical versatility.
