About California Dance Academy
California Dance Academy, located in the vibrant heart of Los Angeles, California, was founded in 2008 by professional ballet dancers. Driven by a vision to create an inspiring environment for their daughters, the academy has blossomed into a premier destination for dance education, fostering discipline, artistry, and the sheer joy of movement for students of all ages and aspirations, from early childhood through pre-professional levels. Our comprehensive curriculum specializes in ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop, further enhanced by dedicated conditioning classes. Our ballet program draws inspiration from esteemed methods such as ABT, RAD, Vaganova, and Cecchetti, ensuring a high standard of technical training. The faculty comprises experienced professionals, including Ballet instructors with unparalleled collective experience, and award-winning Contemporary, Jazz, and Modern teachers who are also recognized performers and choreographers. California Dance Academy offers a Pre-Division for developing coordination in younger children, Lower and Upper Divisions for building strong technical foundations, and an Open Division for teens and adults aged 12 and above. We provide numerous performance opportunities to build confidence and showcase student progress. Summer programs include a Ballet Intensive and a Summer Dance + Art Camp. The academy offers spacious studios equipped with sprung dance floors for an optimal training experience, aiming to enrich lives through the celebration of dance and nurture both aspiring professionals and those seeking the beauty and fulfillment of this art form.
