The routines he has been able to develop with both of middle school classes are something I share with pride. We are incredibly grateful for his presence and all he does with our students and I continue to be inspired by his work on a daily basis.

Our flexible program offerings include semester-long, full-year, summer session, and single-day dance experiences, all designed to meet the unique needs of each school community. Residencies are fully customizable—schools can select the dance styles and residency length that best support their students.

Everybody Dance LA!’s In-School Program brings high-quality dance, yoga, and mindfulness education directly to under-resourced schools across Los Angeles. We currently serve students in grades TK–12 at schools located in East Los Angeles, Hollywood, Inglewood, MacArthur Park, South Gate, South LA, and Watts.

Students interested in Hip Hop and Jazz audition for placement and rehearse an additional 1.5-2 hours a week. Company students represent the organization at community events and performance. Company 1 is for students 8-12 years old Company is for students 12 and up.

Students interested in Ballet audition for class placement. Students study Ballet 3 times a week and progress to pointe and variation work. Conservatory students represent the organization at community events and performances. Conservatory 1 students are 8-11 yrs old, Conservatory 2 students are 11- up and begin studying pointe, Conservatory 3 students are 12 and up. Students are placed based on skill level.

STEP places interested middle and high school aged students in the dance classroom as Teaching Assistants. Students learn job skills, accountability and problem solving skills supporting Teaching Artists with students ages 4-10 years old.

Enrichment programs include a mentorship program, teaching assistant program, student leadership team, the opportunity for students to present their own choreographic works, a Ballet conservatory program and a performance company.

Everybody Dance LA!’s After-School Program focuses on the technical mastery of dance, with leveled training and annual assessments in a safe and supportive environment. After-School program students are all given the opportunity to see live professional dance performances and take master classes with program partners in the Los Angeles dance community. Students study multiple forms of dance in a studio setting with professional dance Teaching Artists who are passionate about teaching dance and instilling confidence, discipline and creativity.

Our program operates in two dance studios in low-income neighborhoods in LA. The After School program focuses on the technical mastery of dance in a safe and supportive environment.

Throughout the school year we bring professional Teaching Artists to schools across LA. Using the art of dance they inspire youth to develop their creative expression and physical fitness.
