BEGINNER BELLYDANCE CLASSES for ages 50+, TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS, 12:00 pm -1:00 pm New level-1 classes begin October 10, 2024. BELLYDANCE FITNESS CLASSES ~ THE FUN WAY TO GET IN SHAPE! Increase strength, energy and stamina. Improve posture, flexibility and balance. Dancing has been proven to be one of the best forms of exercise to promote memory retention and serotonin levels, and to reduce stress and depression.

Gypsy/Bellydance Classes

Gypsy/Bellydance Classes for Ladies 50+ years. Beginner Level I 12:00pm - 1:00pm. Intermediate Level II 1:00pm - 2:00pm. Classes are held at The Merced Senior Center. Typical belly dance work-out gear includes a stretchy top or leotard worn with a hip scarf with coins/beads/fringe over leggings or a skirt. Yoga clothing is also a popular choice.
