Northern California Ballet, nestled in the scenic town of Paradise, California, has been a beacon of quality dance training since its founding in 2019 by Trudi Angel, a distinguished alumna of the Munich State Opera-Ballet Company and the Los Angeles Ballet, who served as Artistic Director for 40 years. Under the current ownership and direction of Lacey Witten, the studio is dedicated to fostering a deep love for dance and cultivating exceptional technique in students of all ages, from 2 to adult. Specializing in classical ballet, the curriculum also includes Barre classes, character, and modern techniques, providing a well-rounded dance education. Instructors like Lacey Witten (Owner and Artistic Director), Leslie DeWitt (Pre-Ballet), Sarah Witten (Pre-Ballet, Ballet I/II), Elizabeth Anzelone (Little Leaps, Ballet III/IV/V), and Trisha Young (Director of the Oroville Studio, specializing in classical ballet, character, modern, and choreographic techniques) bring a wealth of experience and passion. Northern California Ballet emphasizes foundational skills necessary for pursuing professional dance careers while nurturing a supportive environment that promotes teamwork, confidence, grace, and strength.
