The Dance Company, located in Riverside, California, celebrates its 35th season as a cornerstone of the local arts community since its founding in 1990. This award-winning studio, voted Favorite Dance Studio in the Inland Empire by The Press Enterprise, offers a nurturing and positive environment for students of all ages, from 18 months to adult, at beginner to advanced levels. Emphasizing safe teaching methods and proper technique, The Dance Company provides a comprehensive curriculum including a Young Children’s Program with Creative Movement and Dance Exploration, alongside foundational and advanced styles such as Classical Ballet & Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater Dance, and Acrobatic Arts. Instructors are highly qualified, many holding college degrees and actively participating in the dance industry, with an Artistic Director holding an M.F.A. from UC Irvine. They are committed to inspiring and challenging dancers, fostering artistic growth with patient and fun instruction. Students gain valuable stage experience through at least two annual professional productions, a holiday performance and an end-of-year spectacular. Performance and competition teams offer further opportunities to showcase talents and compete throughout the year. The studio, conveniently located in Woodcrest Plaza, features air-conditioned rooms with floating wood dance floors and a dedicated dancewear boutique.
