For many years the highest goal of Ballet Folklorico Netzahualcoyotl has been to research Mexican folklore and share with the world some of this country’s most prized gifts - its dances, customs and traditions. Netza's classes perform regularly around the Bay Area at ethnic dance festivals and schools. He teaches fun and inspiring classes for all ages.

A playful and passionate, registered yoga teacher (200-hour), I have been practicing yoga for the past 20 years and teaching for 12. I incorporate Vinyasa and Iyengar yoga styles into my teaching to create an alignment based flow style class. I also draw from my background as a psychotherapist, poetry I love, and great music of all genres to create inspiring, fun, and energetic classes.

SHiNE Dance Fitness™ is a one-hour cardio dance fitness class that brings original routines to life using hit music and choreography for all abilities. Rooted in jazz, ballet, and hip-hop, this workout gives you a creative outlet to escape from daily stress. SHiNE choreography is more than a collection of 8- counts; every routine feels like a mini-performance encouraging self-expression and confidence. Each class includes the perfect balance of high cardio and toning to ensure you receive a full-body workout with real results.

All classes are fast paced, progressive and designed to encourage strength, precise technique and creativity. All classes start with an invigorating warm up and end with a cool down. Please try to eat at least one hour prior to class and stay well hydrated during class. All levels should bring zils (finger cymbals), a veil and a notebook in your dance bag. Please, no heels in class. Saturday Advanced level, previous class experience required.
