Contemporary level 1 and above are by teacher recommendation only! Placement is based on teacher recommendation in all Ballet Level 2+ and Contemporary Level 1+ classes.

Ballet level 2 and above are by teacher recommendation only! Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 3 ballet classes per week to participate in pointe.

6-7 years old. This class is ideal for students in kindergarten or first grade, when they are more skilled at listening and following directions, and have the attention capacity for an hour long class. In this class, students will learn basic ballet technique, poise, concepts, and more advanced positions and steps, with the French names. Students will learn more complex choreography at this level.

5+ years old. This is a great class for kids who are in kindergarten. Students will build on their technique basics and will be expected to remember simple choreography.

4+ years old. This is a great class for kids who have already completed Kinder Ballet A, or who are in preschool. The expectations are a little higher than Kinder Ballet A, but the class is still playful and fun, while starting to learn basic technique and ballet concepts.

3+ years old. This is the perfect class for students who have never been in a structured class before. They will learn to listen and follow along in a fun and stimulating environment. The main focus here is that dance should be fun. Children must be able to participate in class without a parent.

If your child would like to join at Level 4 or above, we will schedule a time to meet and assess their level to make sure they are placed in the right class. These levels include at least one pointe class per week – students must take three ballet classes per week to dance en pointe.

Like Level 2, this is a two year program, and students are encouraged to come 3 days a week, and for 3B it is required. Level 3B includes beginning pointe in the Fall, transitioning to Pointe 1 in the Spring. Students do not have to take class en pointe, but if they do, three ballet classes per week are required.

It is preferred that students take Beginning Ballet prior to starting Level 1, as basic ballet fundamentals are needed to thrive in this class.

Kinder Sessions must be paid in full; we do not pro-rate tuition. If your child misses a class due to vacation or illness, you may schedule a make-up class, depending on availability.

Level 4 & 5 students may enroll in one, two or three days per week, with every day including Ballet, plus an 'extra' class of contemporary, variations, pointe, yoga, etc.

Beginning through Level 3 classes in Ballet, Contemporary, and Hip Hop, offered for one hour per week.

The Sunday Adult Contemporary class fee is paid directly to the teacher at the time of each class.

Our Contemporary teacher offers drop-in Adult Contemporary classes on Sundays at SBS. The dates and time may vary, so please contact us before attending the first time! The drop-in fee must be paid directly to the teacher at the time of each class.

Contemporary 4 & 5 class, which is part of the Level 4 & 5 class on Wednesdays, but can be taken separately.

Adult Ballet classes may be held during the month of August at the discretion of the teachers, outside of the regular schedule.

Level 2 is a two year program, split into A and B. Students are encouraged to come twice a week, and for 2B it is required to come twice a week.

A 4-week Kinder Ballet session for young children learning the fundamentals of ballet technique and movement.

Activities will include: Classes in ballet, musical theater, and more Games and crafts Walking as a group to Ives Park for swimming and outdoor games.
