Founded in 2015 by Artistic Director Miss Lydia Sawyer, the studio offers a rich dance experience rooted in ministry and personal growth. Miss Lydia, drawing from her extensive training in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz, imbues the curriculum with her unique perspective on healing and spiritual connection through dance. The studio provides comprehensive instruction across multiple age groups and levels, with a strong emphasis on classical technique, particularly in Ballet, from foundational 'Tiny Ballerinas' and 'Mini Ballerinas' through Intermediate, Advanced, and pre-advanced levels, including pointe work. Beyond Ballet, And a Time to Dance embraces a diverse range of styles, including Acrobatic and Tumbling, Aerial Silks (facilitated by instructor Elizabeth Davies of Enchanté Aerial Arts), and partner dancing such as Waltz and Swing through 'Date Nights for Couples!'. The studio also offers Ballroom and Line Dancing, perfect for social events. Adults can explore 'Deep stretch & ballet barré classes' and 'Ladies worship movement workshops,' focusing on dance fitness, core strength, and worship dance. Operating on a semester basis with registration for their Spring semester open, the studio welcomes students to develop their skills in a supportive setting, emphasizing proper technique and musicality.
