Salsaville Dance Studios

Salsaville offers every level of salsa dancing from the absolute "scared-to-try" beginner through the super-advanced dancer. We usually run four to six courses each month. Since we have most levels running each month, you can easily progress through the classes and be out dancing like a pro quickly. We teach all the major styles of salsa: New York and Los Angeles style (on1), Cuban style, Latin American/Cumbia style, and now Colombian style salsa as well. No previous experience is required to join our salsa dancing classes.

In this class, you will learn all of the fundamental and critical elements that will enable you to dance at the intermediate level. We will learn how to do the cross body lead with left and right turns and several sweetheart variations.

The famous "Intro to Salsa" class is for everyone who wants a solid intro to the world of dancing salsa. After just a few weeks, you'll know how to dance salsa, and be ready to start going out and having fun in the salsa clubs of Boulder and Denver.

An upper end class. In this class we will learn more of the most often used moves in the clubs, technique for leading and following, and several new and fancy combinations.

In this class, we will be reviewing and integrating the skills learned in the first three levels. However, there will be a big emphasis on exploring many more variations from the moves learned in Level 3. With different hand combinations there are numerous ways of doing the cross body lead with left & right turns and at least a couple dozen ways of doing the sweetheart. We'll be exploring some of these, and making sure our turns, balance, and leading & following skills are ready for you to join the upper level advanced-intermediate class!
