Streetside Dance, nestled in Boulder, Colorado, has been igniting passion for movement since 2010. Led by founder Rico Changeux, who brings over 30 years of teaching experience and professional collaborations with icons like Michael Jackson and Usher, the studio prioritizes inspirational instruction. Offering over 40 dynamic classes weekly, Streetside Dance caters to all ages and skill levels, from 3 to 65+. Students can immerse themselves in a diverse curriculum including Hip Hop, Breakdance, Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Contemporary, and African dance. Beyond regular classes, Streetside Dance fosters growth through dedicated Dance Companies, running from August to May by audition only for ages 7 and up. These companies provide a rigorous experience with weekly classes and rehearsals, culminating in exciting showcases, and foster a strong sense of community and excellence. The studio also provides opportunities for private lessons to further refine technique. Streetside Dance cultivates a welcoming and unintimidating community, encouraging exploration, skill development, and confidence building through performance, including four annual studio performances and a vibrant summer camp for ages 6-12 featuring Hip Hop, Breakdance, DJ-ing, MC-ing, and graffiti art workshops, all culminating in a camper performance. Streetside Dance is committed to providing a supportive environment for dancers to discover their passion and build confidence.
