Springs Dance offers adult classes in levels for both new and experienced dancers. Unlike many other studios, these classes are true “adult only” classes and are limited to dancers ages 16 and up so even as a beginner, you won’t find yourself at the barre next to the 5-year-old from down the street! In the intro class you'll get into the fabrics to learn more about this amazing circus art. You'll learn simple poses, how to climb, and even how we use the silks in conditioning exercises designed to build the strength and flexibility required for more advanced movements.

True adult-only classes in levels from beginner to advanced. Adults who have never danced before and adults who are returning to the floor after some time away can both find programs that will build fitness and technique.

New students start in an intro program that includes dance shoes and two weeks of group classes for only $39.99.

When ready to take class independently, 3 to 4 year-old dancers continue to practice their ballet, tap, and jazz basics and begin learning simple choreography as they prepare for their first performances with Springs Dance in the annual student recital.

2 and 3 year old students dance in a once-a-week, parent-assisted class that uses props, games, and music to teach coordination, counting, dance and pre-acrobatic skills while focusing on important classroom behaviors like listening to the teacher, following directions, and taking turns!

Preschoolers love dancing with Springs Dance! Pre Dance classes combine ballet, tap, and jazz technique in fun, age-appropriate classes that introduce our youngest dancers to dance basics and let them express their natural love of movement. Intermediate and advanced dancers at levels 4 and 5 become more focused on their ballet training, still have the options to add additional technique, jazz, and contemporary classes and begin developing the strength for advanced ballet technique in pre-pointe or pointe classes. Level 4 and 5 dancers may also be invited to dance with the Springs Dance performance team and receive additional leadership experience by assisting with pre-dance or fundamentals classes.

At the Level 3 or late beginner stage, students devote additional time to each style, having the opportunity to enroll in up to 4 different classes in a program devoted to training in ballet, jazz, and more. Students at this level also become eligible to audition for additional performance opportunities like the bi-annua Nutcracker production.

Level 2 students add additional skills and training to the foundation established in their fundamentals class. Classes meet twice a week and are a combination of advanced beginner ballet, tap, and jazz.

After mastering the fundamentals of dance, youth continue to develop their skills and have additional training opportunities as they progress through higher level classes. New students with previous dance experience may also be accepted to more advanced level classes after being evaluated by an instructor.

The remaining class time is divided between tap and jazz dance. In tap classes, students develop rhythm and precision as they learn to move their feet to the beat. Jazz dance training helps students build expression and artistry in their movements.

Ballet is the foundation of dance training. Students develop strength, coordination, flexibility, and balance by practicing ballet. All dance styles will refer to ballet technique and terminology. Fundamentals classes devote 50% of their instructional time to ballet training.

In the Springs Dance Fundamentals program, new dancers ages 5 to 15 learn the dance technique, terminology, and skills that provide a strong foundation for future learning. Training students of all ages in the art of confident leadership

Swing Dancing is an engaging and upbeat way to build strength and coordination. Meeting for one-hour each class, you’ll get out on the floor to learn basic technique, footwork patterns, and then practice simple combinations out on the floor. In our program you will learn East Coast to Lindy Hop and everything in between.

This engaging 45-minute class, students learn basic steps and terminology while parents learn how the Springs Dance Pre-Dance program nurtures our youngest students' natural love of music and movement and teaches them positive self-esteem with training in ballet, tap, and performance.

Get started with a 50-minute class and see how this classical dance style helps improve overall body strength, increase flexibility, and gain confidence. You’ll step up to the barre to learn the basic techniques and practice simple combinations out on the floor.

New students begin in a Level 1 program and work through a 6 -month curriculum that builds basic skill and the strength required for advancement to Level 2. Classes meet twice a week. Most new students can expect to advance to Level 2 in 4 to 6 months, depending on their attendance and work in class.

This program is designed for new students to experience our dance programs. It includes 2 weeks of classes and free shoes.
