Ballet Melange Academy

All dancers will need socks for stretching classes.

Attire: White fitted t-shirts (black may be worn for contemporary classes). Footwear: Black tights and black or white ballet slippers (both may be required for some performances). Warm-ups: May be worn at the discretion of the instructor. Additional: Intermediate & Advanced male students must wear a men’s dance belt.

Attire: Black leotard, fitted leggings, or close-fitting running shorts. Footwear: Nude ballet slippers without ribbons; socks; jazz shoes may be needed for some performances. Hair: Should be pulled back and out of the face. Ponytails, full braids, or buns are all acceptable.

Skirts or bloomers of any kind are strictly prohibited during all pas de deux classes and partnering rehearsals.

This class is covered by the Adult Punch card option or as a single class.

Adult Punch card $200/10 class, single $22 works for Ballet Technique only

Solo performance opportunities are available at the ADCIBC competition. The price per dancer is detailed for this event.

Solo performance opportunities are available at the Denver Ballet Guild competition. Only soloists perform at this competition and no costume is required to participate.

Master Classes are a valuable opportunity for dancers to enhance their skills and are required for those participating in solos. The cost is per dancer.

All ensemble pieces will be attending UBC, YAGP and ADCIBC, and you must attend all of them to be in an ensemble piece. Ms. Elizabeth will be casting dances based on who agrees to compete.

A 1-week half-day program for intermediate to advanced adults, ages 18-99. Students will hone and improve their skills in ballet technique, pointe, variations, repertoire, character/historical dance, contemporary / Jazz, and Pilates.

Perfect your technique and enhance your ballet skills with our Ballet Technique Classes, offered three times a week. These classes focus on the fundamentals of ballet, providing a solid foundation for all dancers.

Open to dancers age 9 to 99 and intermediate to professional level. Classes will focus on technique and skill development.

This level is for those dancers looking for intense ballet training right from the start. This class will meet 3 times a week for 30 minutes. In this class your dancer will develop strong technique, flexibility and artistry. They will also be invited to perform at our end of the year recital on the big stage complete with costumes.

This class fits into everyone's schedule perfectly! Meeting only once a week for one hour it is a great introduction to the world of ballet. You will get to explore the world of dance in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Advanced Adults may join the Pre-Pro and Trainee class on Saturdays from 9:00am-10:30am 1.5 hour class.

A 1-week full-day program designed for intermediate to advanced adults, ages 18-99. Students will hone and improve their skills in: ballet technique, pointe, variations, repertoire, character/historical dance, contemporary / Jazz, and Pilates.

Perfect for dancers age 3-6! They will dance, craft and perform a show at the end of each week!

A 4-week full-day program designed to prepare intermediate to advanced students, ages 9-25, for professional dance careers or higher education in dance. Male students will have separate technique class taught by Sergii Sydorskyi, former principal dancer at the National Opera of Ukraine. A Final Performance at the end of the session will allow students to demonstrate achievements. Qualified Program participants will be considered for the Ballet Melange trainee program , 2nd company, or company positions for the following season .

A 2-week half-day program to give students age 6-9 at the beginning level the time and attention they need to develop their skills at an enhanced pace, without overwhelming them. No audition is necessary to enroll in this program. Pre-Pointe Students will be assessed for readiness to begin pointe work at the beginning of the Program. With emphasis on technique and safety, students who are ready will be guided through the basic skills of dancing on pointe.

Our Performers Program is a magical journey that combines ballet with a world of fun and learning. Through engaging themes, interactive activities, and a creative expression, your child will develop essential skills while building a strong foundation in ballet. This weekly camp is perfect for those parents who need a few hours to get some things done. Enjoy two free hours, twice a week, to relax, shop, or attend a Pilates class at our neighboring studio. We have a new theme every 2 months to keep them engaged in the program! At the end of each two months you can come and watch a small performance complete with costumes and fun. Plus at the end of the season they will get the opportunity to perform in our year end recital on the big stage!
