Dance Works

Students can sign-up to participate in the Parade of Lights with Dance Works Studio. This opportunity is open to dance students ages 5+. Participation is limited, so sign up early! Participation fee is $35 per student.

Anyone who is competing must register for the Dance Works Competition Team. In addition to the Competition class, you must register for, and attend, recommended ballet, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, and tap technique classes. The Competition Team class does not qualify for the family rate.

Required shoes for all hip hop classes are Converse or any kind of active sneaker. Any clothing that allows you to move freely.

Required attire for all jazz classes is black leotard and tan or pink tights. Hair pulled off the face, preferably in a bun.

Required attire for all ballet classes is leotard and tights. Ballet III, Tween, Ballet IV-V & Intermediate, and Advanced classes must wear black leotard & pink tights. Preferred attire for Ballet I, & II is black leotard & pink tights. Hair pulled off the face, preferably in a bun. Admission to Beginning/Intermediate Pointe and Advanced Pointe is by instructor’s referral only, and student must be enrolled in corresponding ballet technique class. For payment purposes only, this class is considered to meet 1x/week. Admission to Ballet Ensemble is by instructor’s referral only, and student must be enrolled in Advanced Ballet and Advanced Pointe classes. For payment purposes only, this class is considered to meet 2X/week.

Dance Magic is a studio specializing in country/western, swing, ballroom, and Latin dance instruction. The parties are all age friendly and provide a safe place to dance to all genres of music. Stop by and check it out!

Beginning and all levels tribal style belly dance drills and intermediate tribal fusion choreography.

Students will be taught street dance styles, such as break dancing, animation, and popping in a fun and exciting environment.

This form of dance is excellent for developing rhythm and coordination. We teach our dancers how to articulate the feet.

This is a style of dance that incorporates either or both ballet and jazz technique, interpreting the lyrics of a song through movement.

Jazz is a blend of Luigi, Giordano, Hatchett, Tremaine. To learn this form of dance, you need to incorporate many turns and leaps.

Dancers are taught the Cecchetti technique (Italian school). We introduce them to other styles as well.

This form of dance is designed for dancers ages 3 to 4. We teach children the basic ballet steps, play movement games, and work on their gross motor skills.

Learn the beautiful art of belly dance with a fun, modern twist! Sessions alternate between American Tribal Style Belly Dance and Tribal Fusion.
