As students progress to the intermediate level, further study in vocabulary, more complex positions and movements are introduced. The choreography becomes more exciting and intricate as they are able to achieve more control in their movements. Advanced students are developing stamina, strength, and flexibility. They have mastered more advanced technique and demonstrate the fluidity of the choreography.

The student is instructed on proper technique, terminology, and musical phrasing. Emphasis is on the core and body alignment while building strength and flexibility, fluidity, technique with proper placement. Paying acute attention to the unique needs and limitations of each individual body is paramount.

Learn to create a variety of sounds, beats and rhythms. Whether music or creating a tap masterpiece without music, students learn tap vocabulary, coordination, and awareness of balance and body weight shifting. Dancers get a cardio work out in a tap class!

This fun filled adult class crosses all dance styles touching on a variety of characters and styles from the silly to the sublime. It is a form of dance acting that includes original choreography by Tammy Brenner. The music has been pulled from a variety of shows including Lalaland, Phantom of the Opera to Pirates of the Caribbean, Current Pop music, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Copa Cabana, Marilyn Monroe, Thriller, Chicago, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, West Side Story, and the list goes on … Taking on characters while dancing with a variety of styles brings laughter, fun and creativity to all who participate.
