Dance Workshop, located in Monroe, Connecticut, has been a cornerstone of exceptional dance instruction since 1983, boasting over 40 years of experience. Under the direction of Elizabeth Zacharias-Salito, the studio offers a progressive and comprehensive dance education for students of all ages. Dance Workshop provides a diverse range of dance styles, including Acrobatics, Ballet, Belly Dance, Breakdance, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Musical Theater, Tap, and Zumba. Our dedicated and professional faculty, committed to continuous education and staying current with the latest techniques, includes Studio Director Elizabeth Salito, Office Manager Claudia Hikade, and instructors Ashley de Oliveira, Nancy Macauda, Kristen McAfee, Fiona Martinek, Maria Citarella, Diana Shyket, Alexa Nicoli, Sophia DeSanctis, Olivia Innaco, Felicia Isotti, Jen Zultowski, Kristen Grabbe, Natalie Paz, Kate Hodska, Vanessa Williams, Amanda Anthony, and Leyna Doran. Students develop essential life skills such as self-discipline, physical fitness, and poise, strengthening both body and mind from foundational creative movement to advanced levels. The studio features spacious, air-conditioned facilities with sprung floors to protect dancers' joints, four studios with one-way viewing windows, and culminates its season with a professional annual dance production. Beyond regular classes, Dance Workshop offers a Dance Ensemble, Birthday Parties, and Summer and Fall sessions, fostering a vibrant, supportive, and enriching learning environment dedicated to the art of dance. A personalized approach is also offered through private sessions to refine technique, enhance performance skills, and prepare for auditions and competitions.
