RAVE Studios by Dance Progressions, situated in South Windsor, Connecticut, is a premier dance studio offering a comprehensive and progressive dance education for students of all ages and skill levels. Our diverse syllabus spans a wide array of popular styles including Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Acrobatic Arts, Tap, Musical Theater, Contemporary, Lyrical, Breakdance, and Modern dance. We are dedicated to fostering serious dancers through our acclaimed competitive programs, the RAVE Team, which encompasses Green, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Purple, and Red teams, along with specialized Hip Hop teams like Fab 5, All Stars, Hip Hop Divas, and Elite Team. Additional specialty teams include Petite Jazz, Junior/Teen and Teen/Senior Musical Theater, and Acro Teams. Our distinguished faculty, committed to artistic development and progression, includes Artistic Director Christina Shortt, Program Directors Ashley Fichera and Emily Rose Gagne, and Hip Hop Director Jason Taylor. Key instructors contributing their expertise are Michela Poynter (Ballet), Diego Pichay (Hip Hop), Duane Pichay (Breakdance), Lori Hursty (Tap | Zumba), Micaela Abernethy (Ballet | Lyrical | Modern), Tiger Luangpraseuth (Breakdance), Christine Kjellquist (Latin | Ballroom | Lyrical | Jazz), Avory Asselin (Lyrical | Jazz | Hip Hop), Annabella Hartog (Ballet), Jomo Marshall (Breakdance), Deb Casey (Acrobatics), and James Falcon (Lyrical). RAVE Studios provides opportunities for performance and growth, including involvement with NHSDA, and supports competitive dancers. Students also have exciting performance opportunities such as the Disney performance trip, USA BALLET, SWING USA, and various community events and competitions. We offer a flexible "10 Class card" system for adults, ensuring accessibility to our vibrant dance community.
