Our curriculum encompasses tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical dance, while maintaining a strong focus on classical ballet and pointe. PCBT dancers have participated in PCA's Holiday Concert (2004-present) and PCBT's Summer Concert (2005-present).

PCBT’s nine-month school year program runs Monday through Saturday, offering classes from Creative Movement to Performance Company, including adult fulfillment classes. Our curriculum encompasses tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical dance, while maintaining a strong focus on classical ballet and pointe.

By the 2008 season, PCBT had grown to offer a diverse range of after-school classes, including daily ballet and pointe, as well as weekly tap and jazz classes. The summer program started in 2010 and evolved into a full five-week Summer Intensive Program in 2011.

Initially an after-school program teaching introductory ballet, PCBT quickly expanded to include performances in PCA's 2004 Holiday Concert and its first Performance Concert in June 2005. By the 2008 season, PCBT had grown to offer a diverse range of after-school classes.

For dedicated dancers who have met the previous level requirements, these classes emphasize strength, vocabulary, and the ability to quickly learn combinations. Pointe work is generally introduced, and tap students focus on speed and agility while jazz students continue expanding their vocabulary. Lyrical dance is introduced as well. Apprentice and Company dancers perform a variety of choreography at multiple venues. Dancers at this level should communicate ballet terms using French vocabulary.

For dancers who have completed Levels 1 through 4, these classes introduce jazz techniques, including basic stretches, isolations, and jazz vocabulary. Students typically train two to three days a week.

Designed for dancers who have completed Pre Ballet, these levels focus on developing muscle control and expanding ballet vocabulary. In tap, students work on combining steps into sequences.

Aimed at younger dancers beginning their ballet training, this class introduces the use of the barre and foundational techniques.

This introductory class teaches essential tumbling skills, including somersaults, tripods, and eventually handstands.

Classes are organized into levels for dancers eager to explore the energetic style of hip-hop.

Designed for Kinder garten age students looking to explore the art of ballet.

Designed for our youngest dancers, this class introduces the art of dance and movement. Classes meet for 45 minutes per week, focusing on basic ballet and body movements.

The summer program started in 2010 and evolved into a full five-week Summer Intensive Program in 2011, led by our current Artistic Director, Stephanie Artigliere. Since then, the Summer Intensive has included multiple guest artists, a choreography workshop, and a culminating showcase for daytime students.
