Established in 1999 by friends Kathy Hanley Oikemus and Maureen Frail, Docairde has been a cornerstone for Irish dance education for over two decades. Kathy, an ADCRG certified instructor, brings extensive expertise gained from over twenty years of competitive experience and teaching, guiding students from beginner stages through to championship levels. Maureen, a former competitor herself with experience at the World Championships, shares her profound passion for Irish dance with students across Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Welcoming beginners of all ages from four years old upwards, Docairde emphasizes a structured progression built on proper timing, foot placement, body posture, and consistent practice. Classes cater to a wide spectrum of interests and skill levels, including dedicated training for competitive categories such as Prizewinner and Preliminary Champs.
