New Castle Dance & Music Academy

At NCDMA, we have classes ranging from ballet to jazz, hip-hop to tap. While learning the fundamentals of dance, our students are taught self-confidence and respect and appreciation for the arts and for others. We challenge our students to be the best they can be in the studio and throughout their life.

Mom and Me - Kin I dancers are to wear a cover up over the costume. The dancer is to be dropped off stage ready (Change shoes before dropping off). Parents hold on to the street shoes. NO EARRINGS, JEWELRY, OR GUM. The tights act as proper undergarment. Unless a pull up is required.

The tech rehearsal includes the performers in Kinderdance II and up. The dancers are to come in their class uniform. ATTIRE - Black Leotard - Pink or tan Tights (Pink ballet and tap, tan jazz and hip hop) - PROPER SHOES - Skirt for ballet and tap - NCDA shorts for jazz or Hip Hop - HAIR IN A BUN - NO EARRINGSS, JEWELRY, or GUM. - Undergarments must be dancewear attire. Ask staff for guidance.

For our youngest dancers, ages 18 months to 3 years, we have a specialized curriculum that introduces them to the basics of dance in a fun and engaging way, fostering a love for movement from an early age.

A class for parents and their young children, ages 18 months to 3 years, to experience movement together.

Dedicated rehearsal time for team members to refine choreography and performance.

Pre-kinderdance class for ages 3 to 5 years, introducing basic dance concepts and coordination.

Kinderdance class for ages 5 to 6 years, building on basic dance skills and fun movement.

Kinderdance II-III class for ages 6 to 8 years, building on foundational dance skills and advanced techniques.

Pre-kinderdance class for ages 3 to 4 years, introducing basic dance concepts and coordination.

Lyrical dance class for ages 6 to 10 years, emphasizing fluid movements and emotional expression. Ballet is required.

Beginner Ballet and Tap for ages 6 to 10 years old. Focus on foundational movements and techniques.

Pre-kinderdance class for ages 4 to 5 years, developing coordination and dance readiness.

A combined class for ages 8 to 10 years, including Kinderdance III, intermediate I ballet, and tap.

Introductory hip hop class for young dancers aged 4 to 8 years, focusing on fun and basic rhythms.

Jazz dance class for levels II-III, focusing on technique and musicality.

Hip hop class for ages 9 to 12 years, exploring rhythm, coordination, and energetic movement.

A combined class for ages 7 to 9 years, covering Kinderdance II-III and introductory pre-jazz techniques.

Intermediate ballet class for levels II-III, focusing on technique and artistry.

Intermediate to advanced hip hop class for ages 13 and up, focusing on choreography and style.

Got Talent? Get ready to take your dancing to another level! Dancers aged 4 and up, beginner to advanced levels are invited to come audition for the NCDA Dance Team on Saturday, May 10th, 2025! Pre-Registration is required.
