Hula Hoop

Hula hooping is an embodied movement practice. It provides excellent fitness for the body and a meditation-like state for the mind. Much like dance, hooping increases coordination, grace in movement, core strength, tones the muscles and improves cardiovascular fitness. We even like to create a story with our hooping routine for performances. It is perfect for overall mind/body health. And creativity. Most importantly, it is fun!

Aerial Arts

In Aerial classes you will learn how to safely build your foundation of aerial training by learning on the ground and then bringing it up in the air. Basic climbs, foot locks, simple sequences and flows are some of the skills you will learn. Classes also include warm ups, stretching and conditioning.

Cyr Wheel

Roue Cyr for dancers. My focus in Cyr wheel has always been as a dancer; how can I dance with this wheel, how can I create a line that is as complete or more so than we strive for in dance? My class will aim to help dancers broaden their skill set and allow them access to another dimension of movement! We will focus on the basics of wheel manipulation and exploration of negative space as well as how to create the illusion of ease and lightness while moving the wheel. In this class we will also learn the basics of how to center spin on the wheel as well as waltz to keep it going.
