Young Dancers

We will continue to work on stretching, conditioning, and strengthening the dancer's muscles. Ballet barre work becomes more complex as we introduce musicality, accuracy, and strength into the combinations. We continue to exercise the correct body placement and alignment, developing the sense of balance and improving the dancer's turnout. Students will begin to incorporate more use of the upper body. Ballet vocabulary continues to be reinforced, along with the execution and advancement of proper technique making all movement appear with performance clarity and quality. Some pre-pointe exercises/classes may be given towards the end of the year to strengthen the feet and ankles to prepare the students for pointe shoes, and more advanced techniques introducing the first phases of the turning technique.

Beginners

This class is closer to a ballet technique class structure, providing a carefully paced sequence of exercises to develop physical conditioning with poise and grace. The class will begin with a floor barre that works on their strength and flexibility, learning to use specific group muscles. Body placement and alignment are discovered, and students will also learn French Ballet Vocabulary. Class etiquette is part of the classroom practice and expectation. Next, students will learn some simple exercises at the barre and practice small jumps and exercises across the floor to build strength and stamina. This class focuses on musicality. The students will get to improvise and create movements corresponding to the music.

Seniors

The dancers are serious about increasing their repertoire of ballet steps and combinations, building their strength and stamina, and improving their technique in a particular way to try new styles of dance. Adding complexity to the turning technique, dominating the sense of balance, using the point of reference, gaining speed and dynamic on the allegros, the majority of the family of big jumps. Develop the complexity of the pointe work and incorporating more artistry to each combination. The dancers must have a strong foundation. Dancers must have accomplished the correct execution of all ballet and pointe movements. In addition, dancers must have learned and executed all of the grand allegro steps in the ballet vocabulary, and dancers must be able to perform 32 fouettes right and left. As a result, dancers' movements look effortless and with a high level of artistic quality.

Juniors

Barre work becomes more complex as we continue to add more musicality, more use of the upper body (epaulement ), and the port de bras developing the dancer’s coordination of movements, accuracy, and strength into the combinations. In this class, we will start to use the releve at the barre and more pre-pointe, pointe exercises/classes to strengthen the feet and ankles to prepare the students for pointe shoes and more advanced techniques. Ballet vocabulary continues to be reinforced, adding more difficulties to the turning technique, gaining more control and correct execution of the movements, and working on studying the batteries, the good taste, and sense of movement during the entire class. Students must have at least one year of experience in pointe work.

Pre-Ballet

Students will learn simple ballet movements and enjoy discovering the wonderful world of dance. They will learn the fundamentals of ballet in a disciplined but fun environment, experiencing so much joy and excitement through movement and music. Basic Ballet vocabulary and class etiquette are introduced. The class begins with conditioning, stretching, and flexibility exercises. They will also learn patterns in movement, spatial orientation and gain musical awareness.

Mommy & Me

Let them explore and experience creative dance and ballet basics with you by their side. Your little dancer will learn their first plié and work on coordination, ballet toes, and so much more. Parents will learn their ballet basics, too. This is a fun, engaging, and energetic environment for everyone. This is an excellent introduction to dancing for children who are just developing their coordination.

Join our Summer Intensive and dance with world-renowned professional faculty of principal dancers, teachers and choreographers. The perfect training you need to get ready for 2025/2026 season. Pas de Deux Labor Day Weekend

Experience the ballet art form of Pas de Deux and work with experts, long-time partners, Hollywood Ballet Academy Directors and Acclaimed International Ballet Stars Adiarys Almeida and Taras Domitro. The program includes Ballet Technique, Classical, Neoclassical, and Contemporary Pas de Deux classes, where you can explore your body in different movements and learn the coordination of two dancers in all styles. In the Cuban Method, the couple dances in tight synergy. Communication between the couple is enhanced so that the Ballet Art form is intensified through expression and drama. Unison and harmony of the couple are achieved through a genuine connection, through the eyes, the entire face, the arms, and the hands, turning the dancers into esthetically perfect figures.
