About Contempo School of Dance

Welcome to Contempo School of Dance, a vibrant hub for aspiring dancers located in Lutz, Florida. We offer a diverse range of dance disciplines for all ages and skill levels, fostering a supportive and inspiring environment where passion for movement thrives. Our comprehensive curriculum includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Acrobatics, catering to everyone from young beginners to pre-professional dancers. Contempo is proud to feature a dedicated competitive Dance Team that participates in five regional and one national competition annually. Our talented team includes Mini teams (ages 5-10), Junior teams (ages 10-13), and Senior teams for teenagers, providing age-appropriate training and performance opportunities. Aspiring competitive dancers can audition after attending our specialized Dance Team Camp held in June. Our students showcase their exceptional talent through performances at notable venues such as Busch Gardens, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom, guided by dedicated choreographers including Anna Smith, Baylie Dockins, and Bella Leck. We offer regular summer camps and classes, alongside our comprehensive 2025-2026 class schedule, and exciting programs for 2026.
