Jeanne Lynn Dance Studio, nestled in the heart of St. Petersburg, Florida, has been a vibrant hub for dance education since its establishment in 1965 by Ms. Jean Hall. Now under the guidance of Amy Martin, a former student and instructor, the studio continues its legacy of nurturing dancers on both recreational and professional paths. We offer a comprehensive curriculum designed to inspire and develop talent across a wide spectrum of disciplines for all ages and skill levels. Students can immerse themselves in the grace of Ballet, explore the expressive qualities of Lyrical and Contemporary, or master the percussive rhythms of Tap and the dynamic storytelling of Musical Theater and Jazz. The studio also offers the energy of Hip Hop, the unique rhythms of Clogging and Flamenco, the captivating styles of Belly Dance, and the dynamic world of Ballroom dancing. For those seeking a more physically challenging art form or a great workout, we provide rigorous training in Acrobatics, along with Zumba and Barre classes. Jeanne Lynn Dance Studio is dedicated to providing a supportive and state-of-the-art environment, featuring five studios with sprung flooring, fostering artistry and performance. We are proud to support an active Competition Team, with audition opportunities throughout May and June for disciplines including Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz, and Contemporary. Registration is currently open for the 2025.26 season, with classes commencing on August 18th, and we host important events like Leotard Rehearsal, Dress Rehearsal, and an Annual Performance, offering valuable performance experience.
