It is strongly recommended that dancers in Primary Level A (ages 4-5) and Primary Level B (ages 5.5.-7) have a guardian in the building during their class.

Parents of children in our Creative Movement (Ages 3-4) ARE REQUIRED to remain in the lobby or waiting room while their child is in class.

Guardians are recommended to be in the building for Primary Level B dancers aged 5.5 to 7, though they may use the restroom alone if a guardian cannot be located.

For Primary Level A dancers aged 4-5, it is strongly recommended that a guardian be present in the building during their class.

Creative Movement classes for ages 3-4 require parents to remain in the lobby or waiting room during class time.

Tuition installments for the Pre-Professional Division vary based on the individual program, with detailed schedules and tuition available.

Primary and Student Division classes priced based on duration, with 90 minute sessions costing $85 per month.

Primary and Student Division classes priced based on duration, with 75 minute sessions costing $80 per month.

Primary and Student Division classes priced based on duration, with 45/60 minute sessions costing $70 per month.

Adult/Teen Ballet and conditioning classes are for seasoned dancers, new beginners, and returning students. Beginner/Intermediate level classes utilize a slower pace throughout class to introduce and/or reinforce Ballet terminology and technique. Intermediate/Advanced level classes build on the foundations of Ballet terminology and technique while moving through a faster-paced class.

TTB School Pre-Professional Division is by placement only. Extremely dedicated advanced students are invited into this program according to individual progress. These programs are designed for students who may wish to pursue a professional career in dance and aspire to be a part of (or are already members of) The Tallahassee Ballet’s Youth Company.

As students progress in the Student Division, they are presented with more challenging ballet vocabulary and a quicker pace. Level 2 are designed to elevate the dance student’s knowledge of ballet for those aspiring to audition for The Tallahassee Ballet’s Youth Company.

Self-enrollment classes for the young ones, the Primary Division, feature classes that combine movement and music to help students develop coordination, body awareness, rhythm, flexibility, and self-confidence while learning dance vocabulary. Classes progress to introduce students to foundational dance steps and terminology.

The Tallahassee Ballet offers a variety of opportunities for dancers to train over the summer – Classes; Turning Pointe, a two-week Summer Intensive; week-long, full-day summer workshops at the student and pre-professional levels; and full- and half-day Dance Camps for young dancers featuring a variety of themes.

Prepare for the holiday season with us at Dance Camp. Each day will have a creative dance class, exciting activities, and crafts. Campers will learn the classic story and dance the morning away to the music of The Nutcracker ballet!
