Level 1-5, Pre-PRO Dancers: Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Hip-Hop, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater, Contemporary, Youth Company, and Positive Motion

These classes require a placement class as these levels are based on individual progress. This is a great program for the beginner to the advanced dancer and provides a nurturing and fun learning environment. These classes present the students with a more challenging vocabulary that builds upon the principles of previous level classes. More advanced choreography will also be introduced. As students improve in strength and technique they will be able to take pre-pointe and pointe classes. Each Level has a required amount of ballet classes per week and all dance electives require ballet except tap, musical theater, and hip hop.

Primary Division B: Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, and Jazz, and Youth Company

These classes require a placement class as these levels are based on individual progress. All ballet classes will follow a classical ballet structure: barre, center and across the floor routines so that dancers develop a more well rounded technique. Dedication to improvement and hard work will result in level advancement. Our learning environment will remain fun and stress free ensuring that each student gets equal instruction and has a great time. Each Level has a required amount of ballet classes per week and all dance electives require ballet except tap, hip hop, and musical theater. Students must be the required age by September 1st.

Primary Division A: Ballet, Hip-Hop, Tap, and Jazz

All of the vocabulary of the previous level will be incorporated into this level with the addition of new material such as terminology, correct posture, placement, discipline, coordination, strength, flexibility, and musicality. At TADA, our teachers instill confidence while demonstrating the joy in movement in each dancer. This level is divided by age in order to accommodate the developmental needs of every student. Students must be the required age by September 1st.

Pre-Primary Division

Classes in this division are meant to be fun and encourage confidence while introducing basic dance movement and musicality. Students will work on flexibility, self-expression, coordination and participation in group activities. As students progress the classes will become more challenging as we introduce dance positions, proper posture and nomenclature. Students must be 3 years old by September 1st. Children younger than 3 must enroll in Parent & Me.

PRE-PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM (PPTP)

The program focuses on superior classical ballet training, developing strong technique, and a beautiful sense of musicality and artistry, all of which are required to become a successful, professional ballet dancer. The program is a 36-week training program. PPTP is TADA’s ballet and contemporary program designed to provide elite training in preparation for competition at Youth American Grand Prix (YAGP) and college auditions. We welcome dedicated dancers aiming to enhance their technique and artistry through the study of classical variations. Led by Artistic Director, Kara Jacobson and Jonathon Carter, the program focuses on taking students who love ballet and helping them train for YAGP. YAGP is a prestigious ballet competition that is typically held February of each year. Dancers learn age appropriate variations that are pre-approved by YAGP. To participate in our PPTP program dancers must be at least 10 years old and deemed ready by the artistic staff.
