HotShots Cheer Team

Competitive cheer teams are available to students 5 and up.

Aspire Dance Company

Competition dance teams are available to students 7 and up.

11 and up

On top of all other classes, these students can also take pre-pointe to prepare for pointe classes beginning at age 12.

Pre-Lyrical

For 7 - 10-year-olds. Must be taken in conjunction with a ballet or technique class from our studio.

Boys 6 and up

A boys-only gymnastic class is available to boys who want to specialize in different gymnastics skills.

5K and up

Students older than five can choose one or any combination of the following classes - a 45-minute jazz, an hour-long ballet/tap combo, a 45-minute gymnastics, and/or weekly tumbling classes.

Baby 2

For 4 - 5-year-olds. These students get to pick from several classes - an hour-long ballet/tap combo, a 45-minute gymnastics class, or both.

Baby 1

For 3 - 4-year-olds. An hour-long gym/ballet combo class. After Christmas, tap is added to the same time block.

2 1/2-year-olds

Begins in the fall with a 30-minute gym and ballet combo class that increases to 45 minutes after Christmas. This class uses a lot of props and age-appropriate songs.

Tot & Me

For 18 months to 2 1/5 years. This is a 30-minute creative movement class located in the gym and dance rooms.

Aspire Elite

Aspire Elite is a team open to dancers 13 and up who participate in Level 3 dance classes, have worked with Aspire Dance Company for one season, and have shown remarkable dedication to the art of dance. These dancers possess technique and skill fostered through many hours of hard work and while all students are eligible for solos and duets, these students are rewarded with these opportunities more often.

Aspire

This team is for dancers 13 and up who are interested in competing in regional and (potentially) national dance competitions. With the Aspire Dance Company, they will build skill, technique, stage presence, experience in a variety of genres, and teamwork in this challenging and fast-paced class.

Aspire Junior

This team is for dancers between the ages of 10 to 13 who are interested in competing regionally and (potentially) nationally. The Aspire Junior team will begin to compete more complex skills and dances while still keeping positivity and teamwork in the forefront!

Aspire Mini

This team is for dancers between the ages of 7 to 9 who are interested in competing regionally and (potentially) nationally, building their skills, improving their technique, and mastering teamwork. This team is a bigger commitment than recreational classes that will push your dancer to be their best and brightest selves, all while nurturing their love of dance!

Aspire Dance Company

Students who are part of the Aspire Dance Company will have the opportunity to compete in multiple competitions from January through May. Dancers will perform in a range of dance genres with opportunities for not only group numbers but also solos, duets, and trios.

Pre-Pointe & Pointe

Pointe classes are for intermediate to advanced ballet students interested in performing in pointe shoes. A teacher must evaluate the students and deem their technique and strength adequate to ensure their safety while practicing and performing. Pre-pointe classes are available to those interested in gaining the strength and technique required for pointe and begin at age 11.

Level 3

Level 3 is the most advanced level of dance. Students move into these classes after meeting all the specifications of Level 2. Level 3 is for students who have mastered the basic skills of technique and are ready for fast, complex choreography, advanced tricks, complex turn sequences, and mastering the art of performance.

Level 2

Level 2 classes are the next step of the Intermediate/Advanced skillset. Students will move into these classes after meeting the specifications of Level 1. Level 2 focuses on mastering the basics and learning multiple turns, more complex choreography, advanced technique, and performance skills, as well as introducing students to basic "tricks" in lyrical and jazz, such as shoulder rolls and illusions.

Level 1

Level 1 classes are the beginning of the Intermediate/Advanced skillset. Students typically reach this level between the ages of 9-10 but may be moved up at a younger age depending on skill level. Level 1 focuses on becoming familiar with the foundations of technique, terminology, and basic choreography.

Primary

These classes range from ages 5-9, through elementary and into middle school. Each class has a curriculum that is structured specifically for the needs of each age group. Classes are fun while presenting the dance steps and concepts such as direction, spatial awareness, and technique.

Baby 2

This class is for ages 4-5 and is where students will begin to take a separate 1-hour-long ballet/tap class. Students will begin to learn a more varied skill set and perform longer dances.

Baby 1

This class is for ages 3 - 4 and is a combo class of ballet and gymnastics, with tap added after Christmas. Students will learn basic gymnastics skills such as cartwheels, headstands, and front rolls along with basic bar and balance beam skills.

2 1/2 Year Olds

This fun-filled class is a combination class that introduces students to dance and gymnastics. It includes colorful props and equipment, parachute fun, and games. The class is 30 minutes long at the start and extends to 45 minutes after Christmas.

Tot & Me

This 30-minute class is for ages 18 months to 2 1/2 years old, along with a parent or guardian. You and your tot will enjoy a fun obstacle course experience utilizing different pieces of equipment in our gym and spend some time in the dance room learning coordination and introductory ballet moves such as plie and tendu.
