Dawsonville Dance, located in the heart of Dawsonville, Georgia, has been a cornerstone of dance education since its founding in 2010. Purchased in 2020 by alumna Ensley Sisk, the studio continues to offer high-quality dance instruction with a focus on student well-being and happiness. Dawsonville Dance provides a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and excel, fostering a love for dance in the Dawson County community and beyond. Our comprehensive curriculum caters to diverse interests and ages, from our youngest enthusiasts in the "Baby Ballerinas" program (ages 3-4) to teens in Level IV. We offer a variety of genuine dance styles, including Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Contemporary, and Acrobatics. Older students can further their training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop, with opportunities to explore Pre Pointe and Pointe work. Instructors like Ensley Sisk, with a background in Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Tumbling, Clogging, and Tap, and Kaylin Sheffield, experienced in Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, and Pointe, bring extensive knowledge and passion to their teaching. While not exclusively a competitive studio, Dawsonville Dance emphasizes a performance-based approach, celebrating childhood innocence and creating lasting memories through experiences like flashmobs, parades, and special shows, such as our 2021 Christmas Show.
