Dance Team members are encouraged to begin training as soon as possible and continue their participation through competitions and performances and continue throughout full year program. Dancers will participate in a minimum of two competitions and two recitals. It will be necessary for each dancer to enroll in the Team Class on Wednesday at the Community Center plus attend one additional weekly Community Center Class.

Master Classes are often be taught by special guest instructors many of whom have achieved great success in the world of professional and college dance. These classes are open to the Public without charge. Dancers are invited to bring a friend.

Saturdays 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM (30 minutes) Back by popular demand, Mommy's or Daddy's join with your little one to sing and dance! You will enjoy fun songs you can practice at home. This is a great way for the children to begin learning social skills with others.

Sing, Dance and Create! Follow popular children's movies as you learn the basics of Ballet and Tap. Dancers will grow in poise, grace, coordination and teamwork creating a special recital performance show. Each class includes both Tap and Ballet. Students are eligible to participate in our recitals. This is a class for students who can participate without a parent in the studio, however, parents of the younger children should remain outside the classroom during the class as their children often need assistance with bathroom breaks.

This class is for students who have had at least one year of Ballet and Tap, and will give dancers a solid technical background for advanced dance study. Both barre and center work will impart confidence in complex movements and presentation skills in both ballet and tap. Dancers will qualify for team membership and will prepare for a role in our Recitals.

This class leads the dancers to a structured understanding of Ballet and Tap technique. Students focus on body alignment and classical use of arms, hands and feet. Beginning Barre and centre work prepares participants for our Recitals. 6 year old dancers are eligible to tryout for Team membership. This extremely popular class will be limited to 20 students. To accommodate the demand we have added an additional class on Thursdays.

Join this class to learn about musical theatre. Class structure will work on the elements of musical theatre which combines singing, dancing and acting. This fun and energetic class is a new addition to our program.

Rock, roll and jump (literally) to the rhythm of age appropriate popular music. Learn fun dance routines and grow in self confidence. Great time to just have fun and let loose with your new friends. Dancers will learn a special performance number that will "wow" the audience in our annual recital.

Did you take tap classes as a child and miss it? Join us to tap the night away. No experiences in tap but would love to try it? Join us as well. Classes are tailored to beginners and intermediates at the same time. You will learn basic tap steps and put them together in dances. A Spring recital is available, in May, but is not required. (Please note that Feb-May of each year we focus on our recital dance for about half the class; during Aug-Dec of each year we focus more on technique and learn mini-dances throughout the session.)

This is a high energy group and is great for learning teamwork skills. Your dancer will grow in discipline and develop a passion for dance. The team will compete in one or more competitions throughout the metro area during the Spring of 2026 and also perform in our company recitals. A portion of this class will be dedicated to working on ballet & jazz technique to enhance their skills. Senior Varsity dancers may also choose to compete with a solo/duet/trio.

This is our beginning dance team class that will be an introduction to the competition scene. Dancers will continue to take a ballet/tap class as well as sign up for this team class. Dancers will work on jazz technique and learn a routine to take to 1 or 2 competitions during the Spring of 2026 and may also perform in our Spring recital.

This one hour class will teach you jazz basics and are tailored for beginners and intermediates. You will warm-up, do across the floor steps and center floor combinations as well as mini-dances. A Spring recital is available, in May, but is not required.
