Classes

Tumbling/Acro

Our Tumbling/Acro class focuses on improving flexibility and trick-motivated skills. This class is designed to increase strength, endurance, and control. This is a separate class that is available for preschool and up. Class time runs approximately 30 minutes long.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop classes are a fun-filled study of this dynamic and energetic style. Dancers will learn both old school and new school styles of hip hop. These classes are available for preschool students and older. Music and moves are all age-appropriate. Classes range from 30 minutes (younger) to 45 minutes (older) long.

Pointe

Pointe is an advanced ballet technique in which dancers must support their entire body weight while balancing on the tips of their toes. These classes are only recommended when the teacher fully agrees that the student has a strong ballet background and is ready (both physically and mentally) to approach the intricate work involved with pointe work. Pointe dancers will be in class for 1 hour.

Ballet | Tap | Jazz

Older Individual Classes Dancers who are middle school and high school aged take individual classes. These classes are for the more serious dancers who want a more in depth and focused level of training. Individual class times at this age are extended to give our dancers the chance to get the most from instruction. Students may choose one or all areas for training. Class times typically run 45 minutes.

Grade School Age

These classes are designed for dancers in the first grade through the sixth grade. We typically separate these age groups into their own combo classes (example: first grade, 2nd grade, etc.). These classes dive deeper into the study of Ballet technique, Tap sounds, and Jazz style. All music and movement skills are age and ability appropriate. Classes for these ages are approximately an hour long.

Preschool

Our Preschool classes will receive an introduction to tap and continue to grow their understanding of ballet. We will also focus on developing our dancers’ fine and gross motor activity with an accent on social skills in our nurturing atmosphere. Classes for this age group are 45 minutes long.

Tiny Tots

Tiny Tots is a class designed for dancers ages two and three. This class features the beginning of a strong ballet foundation while encouraging imagination with creative movement. Dancers will be in class for 30 minutes.

Jazz

A dynamic style of dance characterized by structured technique, body isolations, and a strong connection to music.

Tap

A percussive style of dance in which dancers create rhythms and sounds using metal taps on their shoes.

Ballet

An artistic style of dance performed using a precise and highly formalized set of technical steps and movement.

Courses

Mommy & Me

Mommy and Me classes are designed for our tiniest dancers (toddler aged) and you, their caregivers, to share music and movement together. These classes are all about inspiring a love for the art of dance while also giving you the opportunity to create unforgettable memories for your family! These classes will be held in six-week sessions in both the Fall and Spring.
