Seasons Dance Company

Company classes are by audition only. Students in Company dedicate more time in the studio with required classes and practices as well as extra fees for costumes, travels, and such for competitions and community performances.

For dancers eager to explore the world of competition, our Pre-Company class is the perfect introduction. Open to students starting in 3rd grade, this class focuses on jazz technique, progressions, and choreography. Dancers will have the opportunity to perform and compete in one local competition, offering a fun and supportive first step into the competitive dance experience.

Modern dance focuses on the study of dance principles such as time, space and energy. Dancers will learn the basic principles of dance improvisation and choreography. This class incorporates elements from many styles of dance enabling the dancers to experience a variety of movement and technique.

This high-energy class introduces dancers to the fundamentals of hip hop through age-appropriate choreography, grooves, and freestyle movement. Dancers build rhythm, coordination, strength, and confidence while learning fun and dynamic routines to upbeat music. Students advance in levels based on skills and technique as determined by the instructor.

This program focuses on strengthening and stretching various parts of the body to enhance the dancer's endurance, strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Creative Dance introduces young dancers to the basic principles of movement—time, space, and energy—through imaginative games and activities. The focus is on having fun while developing coordination, balance, rhythm, musical awareness, self-confidence, and body control. Dancers also practice important social skills such as taking turns and following directions. Ballet terminology and foundational movements are gently incorporated to build a strong base for future dance training.

Focused on developing a solid ballet technique with emphasis on understanding correct body placement, proper use of turn out, coordination of the upper body, and use of arms. Students advance in levels based on skills and technique as determined by the instructor.

This fun and engaging class introduces young dancers to the principles of dance—time, space, and energy—through imaginative movement games and activities. Dancers develop coordination, balance, rhythm, musicality, self-confidence, muscle control, and listening skills. Basic ballet terminology and movements are also introduced. The class also includes beginning acro/tumbling skills in strength, limbering, tumbling, balancing, and flexibility and focusing on foundational movements such somersaults, handstands, backbends, and cartwheels.

Our Acro program blends the elegance of dance with the power and precision of acrobatics, helping dancers develop strength, flexibility, balance, and body control. As an Acrobatic Arts-certified studio, we follow a professional, progression-based syllabus designed to build technically skilled and confident dancers. Students will advance in levels safely through skills in strength, limbering, tumbling, balancing, and flexibility. Whether just beginning or working on advanced technique, dancers are supported every step of the way by our experienced and encouraging instructors.
