Becky's Dance Co

Classes are split into 2 parts: Stretching, Technique and learning of dances. Performances are in December for a winter recital and in the spring for a big spring recital in May. Costumes are provided for both performances. Beginners classes are 45 minutes long, while adult and more advanced classes are 1 hour.

Beginning classes are 45 minutes - Advanced classes are 1 hour. We start class off with a 5-10 min stretch then move onto some technique. After that we move on to learning our dances. The dancers will learn 4 dances in all. Two learned in the fall and two in the spring. In December they perform both dances at a winter recital. In the spring our big spring recital in May.

Length of Classes: 45 min for beginners - 1 hour for Interm to Elite. How are classes run: We start class off with a 5-10 min warm up & stretch then move onto jumps and technique. After that we move on to learning our routines - pyramids and stunting as the students are ready. The students will learn 4 routines in all. Two learned in the fall and two in the spring. They will be a combo of cheers, jumps, pyramids and dance.

Lyrical classes are 1 hour long - 1 hour 15 min for more advanced classes. Classes are split into 3 parts: 1- Stretching 2 – across the floor/technique 3 – learning of dances. The dancers will learn 4 dances in all. Two learned in the fall and two learned in the spring. In December they perform both dances at a winter recital. In the spring our big spring recital in May.

Jazz classes are 1 hour long and involve stretching, across the floor technique, and learning of dances. Dancers will learn 4 dances in all, 2 in the fall and 2 in the spring.

The dancers will learn 4 dances in all, 2 ballet and 2 tap. One of each learned in the fall and one of each in the spring. In December they perform both dances at a winter recital. In the spring our big spring recital in May.

Ballet/Tap is a dance class for children aged 5-7 years old, taught by Hadlie.

PK Ballet Tap is a dance class for children aged 3-5 years old, taught by Becky.

Lyrical is a dance class for children aged 10 years old and up, taught by Hadlie.
