Adult Dance Technique
Join us for our dynamic Adult Dance Technique class, where every week brings a new style of dance to explore. From the elegance of ballet and the syncopated rhythms of jazz to the expressive movements of contemporary dance and the infectious energy of hip-hop, each session offers a fresh opportunity to hone your skills. Led by experienced instructors, you'll delve into foundational techniques, mastering posture, alignment, and musicality across diverse genres. Whether you're a novice dancer or seasoned performer, our supportive environment encourages growth and artistic expression. Step into our studio and discover the joy of mastering multiple dance styles in a vibrant community of enthusiasts.
Adult Ballet
It’s never too late to learn Ballet! This class is open to all adults who want to dance! Some adults may have years of ballet experience while others have none. Adults are always welcome to “pick and choose” what they want to do during class and are not required to wear a leotard or tights. Class time will be spent performing barre, center, and corner work with combinations adjusted for different levels of ability as needed. Dancers will learn waltz, and various adagio combinations. Stretching to increase flexibility will be incorporated throughout the class. The level of the class and exercises will depend on the students. This is a no stress class, just for a fun workout for you to stay in shape and feel great
Adult Tap
This class is perfect for beginner to intermediate dancers. Class will consist of a warm up for the feet and ankles, centre work and across the floor. The level of the class and exercises will depend on the students. This is a no stress class, just for a fun workout for you to stay in shape and feel great.
Pointe 1 and 2
This class will include exercises at the barre and in the centre. Students will improve strength and learn more difficult movements, while improving step transitions, fluidity of movement, and presentation. All pointe dancers must take at least 1 ballet class and be approved to be in this class.
Pre-Pointe
Pre-pointe classes are offered to ballet students who are not yet on pointe, but are working towards being on pointe. This class helps the dancer to further develop and strengthen the muscles necessary to go en pointe. The class will stress correct alignment and correct classical ballet technique. Each dancer will go en pointe at their own pace and only dancers who the instructor knows are ready will be allowed to purchase pointe shoes.
Tap Advanced/Elite
These classes move at a steady, productive pace, this course prioritizes the acoustic rather than the aesthetic, and simultaneously trains the ear while developing the feet as percussive instruments. Look forward to weekly rhythm scales, rudiments, progressions and combinations that stress syncopation and precisely timed weight shifts. Much emphasis will be placed on maximizing efficiency of movement, relaxation of the joints, and weight placement. Tappers will explore various arrangements of musical patterning and phrasing, as well as the use of dynamics, tone and shading to expand individual artistry and performance. Recognize yourself as a percussive musical artist, gain greater clarity and articulation of your sounds, and take your rhythmic expression to the next level!
Tap Intermediate
These classes move at a steady, productive pace, this course prioritizes the acoustic rather than the aesthetic, and simultaneously trains the ear while developing the feet as percussive instruments. The class will emphasize the importance of synchrony and teamwork in a performance, preparing you for ensemble work on stage. You will also learn how to convey a story through facials and movement.
Debut/Primary Musical Theatre
In this Musical Theatre Class you will cover fundamentals of terminology, steps, and movements specific to Broadway. You'll learn basic choreography, often set to music from popular musicals. The class will emphasize the importance of synchrony and teamwork in a performance, preparing you for ensemble work on stage. You will also learn how to convey a story through facials and movement.
Lyrical Elite
Lyrical is a combination of light tumbling, ballet technique, jazz technique, as well as some modern styles of dance. In this lyrical class the students will explore their ability to interpret a song's mood as well as feel. Student will work on their flexibility, light tumbling (cartwheels, toe ups, etc), their balance, as well as turning in different ways from traditional jazz/ballet turns. This class is the perfect opportunity for a student to learn self expression, as there may be times where they are allowed to improvise their own choreography as well as interpret their music in their own unique way. Dancers must also be enrolled in a ballet class to take this level.
Lyrical Advanced
Lyrical is a combination of light tumbling, ballet technique, jazz technique, as well as some modern styles of dance. In this lyrical class the students will explore their ability to interpret a song's mood as well as feel. By the end of the season, they will know the names of several ballet steps and positions and will maintain proper ballet etiquette in class. As each level increases the combinations and skills will also increase.

Primary Levels Ballet 1 * Jazz * Lyrical * Tap
Primary Leveled classes focus on developing coordination, strength, and flexibility, articulation of feet, motor and cognitive skills. Each class offers exercises that are developmentally appropriate to the age of the student. The goal of each class is to facilitate growth of the student's inspiration to dance, move, be creative, while instilling appropriate postures and movement patterns that will be layered upon as they progress in their other dance classes.
Debut Levels Ballet * Jazz * Lyrical * Tap
This class is an introduction of the basic styles of Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, and Ballet. Each class will enhance the dancer's knowledge of steps and combinations. Dancers will find their own artistry, through play and performance practice, students will take their technical knowledge and explore their own movement, musicality and creative expression.
Pre Ballet
A creative class for your little Ballerina. In this class dancers will learn the basic principles of ballet, gross motor skill development, imaginative movement exploration. This class is a great class for those younger dancers who do not like the noise of Tap class.
Pre Ballet/Tap
The perfect 45 minute program to welcome your child to the art of dance. This class is composed of fun filled songs that introduce your child to Tap and Ballet. Not only is this class the perfect “introduction” into the world of dance, it also develops socialization skills, listening skills, independence, and also helps with parent/child separation.
Dancing Tots
In this class, basic ballet steps will be taught, along with creative movement and body recognition. This class stresses repetition for muscle strength and memory by combining dance games and fun music. This class is the perfect introduction for a parent free dance class.
