Spotlight Class

Step into the spotlight! We’ll kick off with a follow-along warm-up to stretch, strengthen, and get your energy up. work on coordination and individual style, and finish with a combo that brings together musicality, performance, and theatrical flair.

Ballet Progression Class

Designed for dancers with some ballet experience looking to progress their skills and artistry. We’ll begin with a thorough barre, followed by combinations that refine both artistry and technique Class will progress into center work and traveling phrases across the floor, emphasizing balance, musicality, and dynamic movement.

Contemporary Dance and Hip-Hop Fusion

In this class, dancers will explore the fusion of contemporary dance and hip-hop culture. Through a combination of ballet/modern technique and improvisation, dancers will embrace the core element of contemporary dance; freedom of movement. At the same time, dancers will dive into the foundations of hip-hop - Breaking, Popping, Locking, and Grooving/Funk- to create a multifaceted experience that ultimately encourages dancers’ unique artistry. In each class, dancers will blend these fundamental elements by engaging in exercises that build technique while encouraging personal creativity. The class will culminate in a phrase where students can apply their newfound skills and artistic voice.

Improvisation, Gravity, Planes of Space, Floor Tool

Starting with improvisation, using gravity, planes of space, the floor as a tool, and clear initiation points. Moving into phrase work incorporating and complicating what was explored while finding verticality, and making transitions more fluid and seamless. It will challenging the body to stay relaxed and efficient.

Spiral Body Techniques

Spiral Body Techniques is the dance and movement framework developed by choreographer Molly Shanahan. Essential Level Spiral Body Techniques classes introduce and develop foundational movement principles, emphasizing increasing whole-self dancing, articulation and coordinated availability of the ball-and-socket joints, and moving with a dynamic center through the release and reengagement of musculature. The easiest, most challenging dance class you’ve ever taken.

Foundations of Contemporary Dance

No prior experience needed, just a willingness to move and explore! This class introduces the foundations of contemporary dance through a guided warm-up, across-the-floor exercises, and a final combination that encourages creativity and self-expression

Contemporary Movement with Theatricality

Explore Contemporary movement with a dramatic twist! This class invites you to explore movement through the lens of theatricality, character development, and storytelling. Embrace bold, expressive choreography that encourages you to jump outside your comfort zone. Bring your passion and flair for the dramatic! Prior dance experience is encouraged

Floor Time and Inversions Class

You can expect a warm up of back exercises and foot work that mixes in plenty of swirly floor time and inversions. We’ll do combinations on both sides as we build to a larger final phrase utilizing elements of the warm up. You’ll leave class feeling balanced yet free - like both your brain and your body got a work out.

Modern X's on the Floor and Traveling Phrases

We’ll begin with a guided, improv-based warm-up that uses breath and body scanning to ground and awaken awareness. From there, we’ll move into modern X’s on the floor, followed by traveling phrases and pliés that emphasize fluidity and expansion. Class will build toward longer exercises and combinations that weave in floorwork, momentum, and full-bodied movement.

Ballet Barre and Contemporary Combinations

This class will focus on creating a well rounded dancer by blending a mix of ballet barre with contemporary combinations for the center work. We will stress the importance of breath, use of the torso and spine in a more contemporary manner and developing performance quality and artistry. This class will encourage freedom of thought and movement interpretation. Participants will strive for technical virtuosity as well as finding their own personal artistic voice.

Dynamic Combo Class

This class is designed to push your body and artistry from start to finish. We’ll start with a cardio-driven warm-up to build heat, strength, and stamina, then ease into a juicy stretch to recenter. you’ll end with a dynamic combo that pushes both artistry and athleticism—highlighting musicality, floorwork, and full-bodied movement

Beginner Ballet

No experience necessary. Learn the basics steps and technique of ballet. Start working on your skills at the barre then move to the center and across the floor. Perfect for those who have never taken ballet, haven’t danced in a long time, or want to get back to basics.

Floorwork Class

Emphasizing that the “floor is our first partner”, this class will cover various ways on how we can approach floorwork as naturally as possible. We will explore the natural weight of our limbs, building efficient transitions, and encouraging a safe environment to take risks. This class is perfect for beginners and/or experienced dancers. Long pants, long sleeve or short sleeved shirts, and knee pants are encouraged.

Cardio Dance Workout

A wildly addictive cardio dance workout built on zero judgement and good vibes only. follow along choreography to get your blood pumping. no experience necessary

Safety Release Technique Principles Class

In this class, we will focus on basic Safety Release technique principles, prioritizing efficient use of the spine and breath, mobilizing frozen tension, and discovering safe practices when moving in-and-out of the floor. Class typically begins on the floor with a somatic warm-up, and progresses into standing, traveling, and lush, physically rigorous movement patterns that move up, down, and through space.

Full body workout

A full body workout that will leave you feeling energized and accomplished. Combining techniques from pilates, ballet and yoga, we will start with a warm up and arms, move to the barre for some booty and side body work, and finish with abs and a quick stretch

Countertechnique® Class

The Countertechnique® class is a contemporary dance technique class. It stretches, coordinates and strengthens the body, making the dancer sweat, build stamina and really move. The class starts with a recurring set of exercises, allowing dancers to investigate the Countertechnique® principles in detail. The second half of the class consists of changing components, working towards luscious movement combinations and jumping at the end.

Ballet Technique Class

A class for the ballet dancer who is familiar with terminology and ballet steps. Some experience required. Start class with a thorough barre working on ballet technique and barre combinations. Moving those skills to the center and across the floor
