North Shore School of Dance

Dancers are required to be at least going into Jr 4 ballet level and must attend weekly company class during the week and additional rehearsals on the weekends as needed.

For Adults 50 & up we host specialty classes to increase mobility, strength, and balance through their program, called Time to Dance . Classes for ages 50 + Classes run by CBG Institute for Dance and Health.

At North Shore School of Dance we offer Adult Classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-hop, Character, and specialty classes for healing. Classes are offered at beginner levels through advanced and are designed for college age students through adults.

Dedicated Boys Classes are offered within the Student Division for dancers in 1st Grade through High School, providing specialized training for male dancers.

Hip Hop dance classes are available for students in the Student Division, for dancers in 1st Grade through High School, exploring various hip hop styles.

Tap dance classes are offered for students in the Student Division, suitable for dancers from 1st Grade to High School, focusing on rhythmic footwork.

Lyrical dance classes are part of the Student Division curriculum for dancers in 1st Grade through High School, blending ballet, jazz, and contemporary elements.

Contemporary dance classes are offered within the Student Division for dancers in 1st Grade through High School, focusing on modern and current dance expressions.

Modern dance classes are available for students in the Student Division, catering to dancers from 1st Grade to High School, exploring contemporary modern dance forms.

Jazz classes are part of the Student Division offerings for dancers in 1st Grade through High School, focusing on various jazz dance techniques and styles.

Pointe classes are for advanced ballet students, typically those aged 12 and older with at least three years of classical ballet study. Requires teacher and Director evaluation and a recommendation letter.

Ballet classes are offered for students in the Student Division, which is for dancers in 1st Grade through High School. This class focuses on classical ballet techniques and training.

Pre-Dance Division Classes are for 18 months - 6 year olds. Classes are an introduction to movement, rhythms, and coordination in a fun and imaginative atmosphere with various dance style emphasis options in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop!

For Adults 55 & up we offer specialty classes to increase mobility, strength, and balance through our A Time to Dance Program.

We offer classes in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip-Hop and more. We also offer open level Adult Dance classes, Pre-Dance classes, Boys Dance classes, Seasonal Workshops and Summer Camps/Intensives for ages Pre-School through High School.

Student Division classes require advanced registration for a $25 Drop-In Fee. These classes are available for registration and payment online, with options for tuition, deposits, and payments on accounts.

Summer Camps & Intensives are available for registration and payment online, with options for tuition, deposits, and payments on accounts.
