Put those babies to bed and come join us in our beginner adult ballet & tap class! Our adult class is a great way to meet other moms while sneaking in some exercise in our fun environment!

This exciting class is an introduction to the principles of authentic Latin dancing. The classis focused around basic body rhythms inherent in Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa, Bachata and Cha-Cha-Cha. We will cover the fundamentals of leading and following, as well as introduce you to dance patterns for each Latin dance style. Black character shoes with a 1/4 inch heel are required for Latin Dance.

Poms is a class designed to introduce dancers to proper jazz dance technique while including the sharp and synchronized movements and visual effects of working with pom poms! Class curriculum will include a proper warm-up, jazz dance techniques including turns, leaps, and jumps, and Poms technique, focusing on complete and correct execution of movements. This class will also incorporate tumbling fundamentals for an exciting and challenging mix for dancers. Jazz shoes as well as proper dance attire is required for all Poms classes. These classes will have a dance in the recital. Poms and Tumble dance is offered at the Mini Level, ages 6-8.

As our dancers get reach the Junior age level, they are ready to focus on becoming stronger and more confident ballerinas. Our ballet classes incorporate barre work, across the floor, and new choreography each week to provide our dancers with traditional ballet education and encourage them to do their best in every class. Each dancer will receive individual attention from their instructors in order to perfect their technique, and will also learn how to dance as a cohesive group with their classmates. Ballet shoes as well as proper dance attire is required for Ballet classes. These classes will have a dance in the recital. Ballet is offered at the Junior Level, ages 8-10, and the Tween Level, ages 11-13.

Tap classes are upbeat and fun for any dancer! Classic, broadway style tap is combined with modern, rhythm tap, giving our students variety in their tap technique. Classes begin with focusing on more simple techniques, and build up to complex steps that can be achieved with a little practice and hard work! Each class will consist of a thorough warm up and essential one on one time with each student. Our dancers will learn to understand the rhythm of music, and complement that rhythm with the sound they make with their own shoes. Tap shoes as well as proper dance attire is required for all tap classes. All tap classes will have a dance in the recital. Tap classes are offered at the Junior Level, ages 8-10, and the Tween Level, ages 11-13.

Pre-pointe classes are offered to ballet students who are not yet on pointe, but are working towards being on pointe. This class helps the dancer to further develop and strengthen the muscles necessary to go en pointe. The class will stress correct alignment and correct classical ballet technique. Each dancer will go en pointe at their own pace and only dancers who the instructor knows are ready will be allowed to purchase pointe shoes.

Lyrical dance combines elements of ballet and jazz to create a soft style that emphasizes the storytelling quality of music. An emphasis is placed on grace and fluidity, musicality, and expressiveness to capture emotion through movement.

This high-energy class teaches rhythm, coordination, and balance through age-appropriate movements set to fun, upbeat music. Hip Hop instills rhythm and helps young dancers develop muscle memory. This style is upbeat and great for boys and girls who love to move and who love to have lots of fun! Dancers may wear athletic clothing such as leggings, shorts, or sweatpants along with a solid colored shirt. Gym shoes are required for all hip hop classes and the required type of shoes will be decided during the first class. Hip Hop classes are offered at the Intro Level, ages 4-6 and at the Juniors Level, ages 6-10, and all Hip Hop classes will have a dance in the recital. All-boys Hip Hop as well as co-ed Hip Hop classes are offered.

Tumble Dance classes will combine traditional dance technique with exciting tumbling acrobatics. In this class, dancers will learn basic tumbling techniques, such as somersaults, cartwheels, and flexibility. All movement will be rhythm based, so that students are able to incorporate their new tricks into fun dance routines! Dancers will have bare feel for Tumble Dance classes, but proper dance attire is still required. All Tumble Dance classes will have a dance in the recital. These classes are offered at the Preschool Level, ages 4-5, the Mini Level, ages 6-8, and the Junior Level, ages 8-10.

Broadway Jazz is a great class for aspiring Broadway stars! In this class, students will learn proper jazz dance technique with an emphasis on correct terminology, alignment, and movement quality. This will be combined with learning Broadway-style jazz choreography and show-stopping stage presence with a focus on learning song-and-dance numbers from a variety of musical productions, past and present. Jazz shoes as well as proper dance attire are required for Broadway Jazz classes. These classes will have a dance participating in the recital. Broadway Jazz classes are offered at Junior Level, ages 8-10, and Tween Level, ages 11-13.

This popular combination dance class is designed to allow students to express their individuality through the art of dance. Students will learn both tap and ballet skills through imagination activities and fun dance routines. Proper technique and terminology is implemented all while providing an environment for creative expression. Both ballet and tap shoes are required for this class as well as proper dance attire. Classes will begin in ballet shoes and dancers will be asked to bring in a dance bag containing their tap shoes to change halfway. Ballet & Tap combination classes will have one dance participating in the recital, and the style of the routine will be up to the discretion of the instructor. This class is offered at the Preschool Level, ages 4-5, and at the Mini Level, ages 6-8.

Baby ballet is a class for dancers between the ages of 2.5 and 3.5. Dancers in this ballet level will continue to learn the foundations of dance. We strive to educate our ballet students with traditional technique, while inspiring creativity and imagination. Quality education and individual attention will be provided to each student to nurture their love for dance. After all the hard work is done, dancers are rewarded with dress up and special choreography at the end of class! As Baby Ballet dancers will be dancing on their own (without mom or dad) in this class, we recommend dancers have previous experience with Mom n’ Me or another structured class. Ballet shoes are required for this class as well as proper dance attire. Baby Ballet classes will participate in the recital.

The Mom n’ Me class is a ballet based dance class in which your little dancer between the ages of 18 months and 2.5 years will learn the basics of dance with you right by their side. This class is a great way to introduce your child to a classroom structure by encouraging discipline and essential learning skills. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t have fun too! Every class is complete with dress up, imagery to help understand technique, and of course, plenty of time to twirl across the dance floor with mom, dad, or their caregiver. Moms (or dads), come dressed ready to dance with your little one and watch them grow into beautiful ballerinas right before your eyes! Ballet shoes are required for dancers. We do not allow more than 2 Mom n’ Me classes per week at this age level. Mom n’ Me classes will have a dance in the recital.

Absolutely NO JEANS are allowed in class. Students must wear active clothing that allows moment. Hip Hop shoes should be carried into class via a dance bag, and never worn outside as to keep the dance room floor as clean as possible. Hair must be in a bun, or at least a ponytail or braid to be kept out of face and neck.

Leotards and footless tights are required. Dance skirts and yoga pants or shorts are optional. Jazz shoes are required. Students begin class barefoot and stretch and tumble before doing poms. Hair must be in a bun, or at least a ponytail or braid to be kept out of face and neck.
