Progressive Ballet Technique/PBT

Dancers must understand the depth of training muscle memory & the understanding of core stability, weight placement and alignment. ADA requires dancers to be enrolled in Elementary level Ballet class or higher to enroll.

Modern

This strong & expressive style arose as a reaction to Ballet. Dancers begin on the floor to learn how to curve & lengthen the spine while using the breath to initiate movements. Once standing dancers learn to use gravity to fall and recover to standing. Movements range from sharp & direct to smooth and flowing. ADA requires dancers to attend 2 Ballet classes a week in Elementary level or higher to enroll.

This vibrant style is based on street dance. Dancers learn freestyle movements that are based on principles of popping & locking body parts while breaking down normal pedestrian movements into works of art.
