Silks 2

Then Silks 2 is where your journey continues! This level is for students who can invert in the air with control and confidently climb and descend with ease. In Silks 2, you’ll explore more advanced drops like double star, slack drops, and momentum-based transitions. You’ll build aerial choreography and endurance sequences, learn multi-wrap skills and progressions like belay and crochet thread, explore complex entries and exits from footlocks and hip keys, and begin building transitions that flow between tricks seamlessly.

Silks 1

Once you’ve mastered your wraps, knots, and basic climbs in Intro to Silks , you’ll graduate to Silks 1 where the magic really starts. In Silks 1, you’ll focus on clean climbs and smooth descents, hip keys in the air, footlocks in the air (single and double), inversions in the air (in wrist locks and/or from a climb), introductory drops like salto or star drops in a knot, and developing short aerial sequences and transitions.

Intro to Silks

All students are required to first take Intro to Silks. In Intro to Silks you will learn all the basic locks and knots around the wrists and feet. You will learn to tie a knot and complete various shapes and sequences. Inversions in both knots and wrist locks are covered. Climbs are taught using multiple techniques. This all takes time and dedication! You will remain a student in the Intro course until your instructor passes you into Silks 1.
