Mooresville Arts Partnership (MAP), located in Mooresville, Indiana, is a vibrant community arts center established in July 2010, dedicated to fostering artistic expression across multiple disciplines for all ages. At its core, MAP boasts a dynamic dance program with specialized studios, including "studio a" with mirrors and a sprung floor, and "studio c" featuring mirrors, a ballet barre, and a wooden floor. Our diverse dance offerings encompass foundational techniques in ballet and jazz, energetic hip hop, rhythmic tap, expressive lyrical, and the dramatic flair of musical theatre dance. The acro and tumble department seamlessly blends gymnastic skills with acrobatic artistry, focusing on floor routines to build strength and flexibility. Students gain invaluable performance experience through local festivals, community events, seasonal recitals, and informal performances, with opportunities to showcase work at venues like Mooresville High School. For those seeking a more competitive path, MAP nurtures a dedicated competitive dance team. Our experienced instructors include Ball State alumna Minnie Rogers, who emphasizes dance as a personal journey; seasoned dancer and choreographer Cassidy Goins, who fosters confidence; professional dancer Arianna Brown, formerly with the WNBA Indiana Fever Inferno hip-hop squad; and ABT Certified Teacher Rebecca Levin, bringing a strong ballet foundation. MAP also offers comprehensive creative environments with programs in art, theatre, and music, with special programs like princess ballerina classes and engaging summer camps, all while providing spaces for community events and inspiring creativity across various age groups and skill levels.
