Donna Brum Dancers, Redefine, located in Schererville, Indiana, is a vibrant dance studio dedicated to nurturing a passion for dance and artistry in students of all ages. We bring dreams to life through a comprehensive curriculum designed for preschoolers to adults, fostering a lifelong love for movement. Our diverse disciplines include the elegance of Ballet, the dynamic energy of Hip Hop, the expressive storytelling of Jazz, the rhythmic precision of Tap, the contemporary flair of Contemporary, the blending of acting and singing in Musical Theater, and exceptional Acrobatics training. Young dancers aged 3-4 can begin with Pre-School Tap, Ballet, and Tumbling. For ages 4-9, we offer foundational Tap, Ballet, and Jazz, with Hip Hop classes available from ages 5-7 and progressing through Levels I-IV. Advanced dancers can refine their skills in Jazz Levels I-V, Tap Levels II-IV, Lyrical Levels I-IV, and Ballet Levels I-IV. Recognizing diverse needs, we feature dedicated adult classes, including a popular Adult Tap option. Our studio nurtures budding talent through various team programs. The main Competitive Team, a Pre-Team, a Mini Performance Team, and a Hip-Hop Competitive Team offer opportunities to showcase progress and passion on a larger stage. Auditions for Junior, Senior, Mini, and Hip Hop Teams are held during the summer. Team members commit to rigorous practice schedules and technique classes, attend conventions, and compete throughout the year. The Pre-Team focuses on one competition, while the Mini Performance Team performs at local events. Our two spacious studios are equipped with sprung Marley flooring for optimal comfort and safety, and a comfortable waiting room offers observation via closed-circuit television.
