Mirror Image Dance Academy of Valparaiso

Mirror Image Dance Academy has developed a hands-on preschool that allows the development of mental and social skills through our dance program included in our preschool. Students will receive 90 minutes of dance a week and learn their letters, colors, and numbers well as how to write their names and basic words.

This age group consists of more complex dancers that have longer, more difficult dances. Classes such as Modern and Contemporary are introduced.

These classes are used to introduce more dance combinations at higher difficulties such as Praise and Musical Theater.

At this age, students are able to retain more information from week to week. Therefore, more complex techniques are taught at a faster rate.

These classes emphasize creative movement as well as basic dance steps and techniques.

This option of Preschool is recommended for 3 and 4-year-olds. It will take place on Monday and Wednesday and offers a dance class on Monday and Wednesday on top of learning!
