Energy Dance and Tumbling Company

Pre-School Tap/Ballet this class is for ages 3 & 4 year olds. In Pre-School Ballet they will learn basic ballet technique using lots of fun props and interacting with their friends in class. In Pre-School Tap they get to learn all the parts of their tap shoes, basic steps, and learning to keep the time with the music. We do lots of fun tap exercises with props in tap! With both of these classes we love to use music from popular movies and interactive songs! These classes allow them to be creative and to begin learning basic dance steps while starting new friendships in their classes!

This is a great time to bond with your little one as it is a parent and me class! Boogie Tots is a great starter class to introduce your little one to tumbling and dance! They will do simple tumbling moves along with simple dance moves! So let those little ones shake their tail-feathers!

Level 1- 8 incorporate bigger skills while conditioning the body to support power, strength and flexibility. Our classes implement many techniques and drills from power tumbling,gymnastics, and trampoline. Level 1-8 for ages 7 and up! Each student will be tested before placed in a level to ensure safety for the student!

In tap your child learns basic to advance counting of music and steps. Once they learn the basic of tap and adequate weight transfer the possibilities are endless. Tap has many benefits like improving rhythm, leg & foot strength, cardio workout, musicality, and creativity.

Kinder Tap/Ballet we begin to learn more steps, movements, and technique in both Tap and Ballet. in Kinder Ballet they will add on to the basic movements they were taught in Pre-School ballet! In Kinder Tap they add on to basic tap steps and work on timing and musicality! While still using props and a fun playlist of music. We begin to structure class a little bit more, all while having fun and making friends!

In Advanced Tumblebugs this is the perfect spot for students who are not quite ready to do a full hour long class! They will work on their rolls, cartwheels, handstands, bridges, and most of all have fun while doing it! Advanced Tumblebugs is for ages 5-6!

Over night your child changes from a toddler to a rambunctious child. At Energy our Tumblebugs program has been designed to help your child channel all that energy and reach development highs. The child must be independent enough to attend class alone. Children learn best in a structured environment while having fun. They will be learning the very beginning of tumbling. Tumblebugs for ages 3-4!

Hip Hop is a fun energetic style of dance that combines Street Dance and Jazz Funk! This class is loaded with energy, coordination, memory, and appropriate music for a fun and funky class! There are two levels of Hip Hop! Kinder Hop is for ages 4 - 6 year olds & an all level Hip Hop Class for anyone 7 & up!

Pointe is the part of classical ballet technique that concerns pointe work, in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within pointe shoes. Students must be at least the age of 13, apart of our Company Dancers and have previous years of ballet class. Pointe is also at the discretion of the teacher.

Jazz class is an upbeat stylized and versatile dance form. This technical class includes a strengthening warm up, across the floor movements, leaps, turns, and center combination work to fun and upbeat music.

This programs combines sensory, gross motor skills, and tumbling activities. The goal of our trained instructor is to provide an individualized experience to each Rock Starz while interacting in a small group environment. Rock Starz is a goal oriented learning program serving children of all ages with minimal to severe challenges. Which includes: general development delay, attention deficit, Autism, visual and speech delays, sensory issues, emotional and behavior issues, social difficulties, hyper activity, coordination problems, and/or fear of movement. This class gives children a feeling of accomplishment while participating in a fun activity in a safe environment. For all ages!

Students learn a more artistic style of dance and musicality with modern movement in this ballet influenced dance class. Expression and personality is crucial to this style of dance.

We learn the concepts, technique, movement, and delivery of this very technical art. Students start with the basics and develop through the years to more advance work, which includes: barre and floor work. The classes incorporate fun and creative activities to motivate the students to retain and properly deliver the Ballet movement.

Your child will learn much more about flexibility and control. Acrobatics focuses on developing strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and agility. This class is very fun and requires a lot of attention and focus. Requirements to participate, students must have a backbend on their own or in level 4 & up!
